A thread to complain about Sky Ferreira not putting out any music

Sky's been working on her sophomore effort with Justin Raisen and Ariel Rechtshaid, who co-wrote and produced her debut album, Ariel Pink, who collaborated with her on a cover of My Molly, Charli XCX, and Bobby Gillespie and Andrew Innes of Primal Scream. She also mentioned she wants to work with Gesaffelstein.

She debuted a brand new song called Guardian during the last leg of her Night Time, My Time Tour.

I think we have enough information. We have a new song, we know collaborators, we know she's actually working on an album.

Album threads have been made on less in the past.

I don't think it counts as a "new song" until there's evidence of a studio version. But I'd rather see the thread for the first album be turned into a general discussion anyway; it's neater.

I think she's going to be performing her final NTMT show soon and she posted a photo of the cover with the caption "Until next time". So that era is officially over (I guess we're not getting that Heavy Metal Heart video?) and there's a fair bit of info about album 2 so the thread is warranted.

It's an iPhone recording of an instrumental. There's no guarantee that that's what it'll sound like by the time it's ready for people to hear or buy.

I'm just excited to know that it's in the works and soon to be recorded. I'm hoping there won't be nearly as much friction to actually get it released this time around.

It reminds me of Talk Talk, even the vocals a bit. I like it a lot.

I hope there's still lots of fuzzy guitars on this album.
