This might say something about the type of original album covers Cher was having in the 80s/90s.
(I prefer both of the originals).
Don't much mind any of them. The original Heart Of Stone looks least appealing. It is a painting/drawing? Maybe it looks better in vinyl?
Oh my god I've only just realised it's supposed to look like a skull.
Even if it a rip off of this:
It’s clever isn’t it.
This album managed to have 5 covers:
Don't worry it took me about 25 years to notice.
They finally got it right at the 5th attempt.
I remember the original cover for Jessica Simpson's A Public Affair was this:
before they changed it last minute to this:
She looks like an alien fembot in that second one. Unsettling.
She looks evil in that one.
I'll take evil over alien.
Is this the album where she had that insane video where she eats spare ribs?
Never seen that second cover for Public Affair. The first one is far better.
I'll raise your 5...
Alternative covers aren't really the same as covers that were changed last minute though, which was kind of the point of the thread, no?
I don't mind, any sort of cover trivia keeps me fascinated.
