Jobs in the Music Industry?

Discussion in 'Off Topic' started by spillett, May 31, 2017.

  1. Does anyone here work within the music industry in any capacity?

I'm currently looking for a new role and want to work in the industry. I know it's not easy to get into but if anyone here work within music and can help in anyway that would be amazing.

PM me or add a comment here.

    Thanks

  8. Well, there you go. Your foot is on the ladder. I'm not sure what else you can really expect three months after starting. Most won't have even had a response to an email.

  9. What kind of job would you want to do in the music industry?

  10. Get Max Martin on board.

  11. I think one should not underestimate the potential that working in the industry you love to death (I assume) has of bursting your bubble.
Not only have I heard so many stories about how disappointing it is to meet your idols, or work with them, but if you think about it, once you're in, the whole picture looks different. Are you sure you want to do that?

I don't think this thread is going to lead to anything, don't worry.

  13. I'll be the next Timbaland.... I'm sure

  14. I'm basically the obvious choice to replace Camila Cabello.

  15. Oh I'm sure it's as stressful as any other job at the end of the day but... I'd rather be in a stressful job in an industry I have an interest/passion in than one that I don't.

  16. Yea I thought all of that and then I went and worked for one of the biggest record labels in the business.

    I hope you've got a thick skin.
