Welcome to the second part of the rate. The rules are simple, and similar to each rate you have previously witnessed (or not) on this forum.

    1. Give each song from the list below a score between 0 and 10. You are allowed to use half points (but not 10.5). You may give the sacred score of 11 only to one song from the entire list.
    2. Feel free to provide commentary. While not compulsory, it's always fun.
    3. Many of the songs have been released in multiple versions. Score your favourite, even if it's a DJ Pierre Bonus Wild Tribal Beats Dub. The only exception is 'Discoteca (New version)' which is a complete re-recording, rather than remix, of the original, and appears on the b-side compilation Format, therefore we are rating it separately. Note: where available, links below point to official videos rather than album versions of the songs.
    4. We are not rating unreleased tracks and demoes, even if they are to be found on the Further Listening CDs. We are, however, rating Relentless.
    5. When you are done scoring, commenting etc., send me a PM with the Results.

The deadline is May 6 (Sunday), 23:59 CET. Reveals, shall all go well, will begin on May 7.

    Spotify playlist
Note: Relentless is not available on Spotify, however if it has been imported into your iTunes library it will be appear as well.
Note2: 'Absolutely Fabulous' has been moved to Collaborations section (available later this year).

I can't believe nobody made a semi-nude video for 'The boy who couldn't keep his clothes on'. Also if someone is willing to make an Apple Music playlist (can those even be shared?) – please do.

  6. Quick question... Why is "Alternative" in the Spotify list but not in the rate? Or am I overlooking something?

The tracks from 'Hey, headmaster' onwards (so 'Can you forgive her?' onwards) are included in the b-sides section, I used an edited Format cover to represent those.

  8. OK, back on track!

@ibelieveinsantogold – should I assume your avatar means you'll be participating?

So we all know 'Go West' is winning this, but what will be #2?

  15. Poor them.

My husband is a huge PSB fan and I like the songs that I know, so I'm going to do this one.

We quote My Night (from Closer to Heaven) at each other on an almost daily basis.

You don't know who I am, do you?
    (removes sunglasses)
    Know me now?
    (giggles)
Yes, 'tis I, 'tis me, 'tis she, your hostess for tonight... BILLIE TRIX!

Have you got the full version of "My Night"? Because you should.

You catch me in the middle of erm...business transaction. This is my friend Mile End Lee! He's got a mind for business and a body for sin. Isn't that right, Lee?

    Piss off!

  17. Is that on the cast album? That’s the version my husband has.

I remember that from the musical but I don’t remember if that’s on the album.

  18. Ray

    Ray

No, the album has the short edit.

  19. Wait, so which album is the long edit on, then?

  20. Ray

    Ray

None. I don't actually know where it comes from. Back in that time *tugs at grey beard* we didn't have those fancy 'digital promo downloads'. And unfortunately we don't have a proper recording of the musical either. *snif*
