For some reason... and I'm embarrassed... I really liked it.
New Laura Tesoro single:
It's definitely one of my Eurovision guilty pleasures.
If Daz Sampson had been 10 years younger and more attractive it may have done better.
He was just a little too old for the song really.
It's also one of our few entries, ever, that has a clear image, a routine and an actual hook. Right idea, wrong guy.
A post-modern indie-electro-pop version of the classic 1986 ESC winner
What the hell did I just watch?
We might have to cancel music for the rest of the year after this.
I always loved this entry. The performance wasn't that good although the ladies were great and experienced life singers.
The band was called "The Rounder Girls". Lynn Kieran (3rd solo passage) sadly passed away in 2013 (lung oedema). Poor Tini Kainrath (first solo passage) found her. In fact Lynn let her in when she rang the doorbell but didn't open the door anymore when Tini arrived at the second floor ...
I find Serhat really sexy don't @ me.
This was absolute perfection.
Agreed, I find myself humming it from time to time! 2000 was really the first year I started watching the ESC, and I always liked the Motown-ish feeling to this, it stood out.
All better than 2015's actual top 3 (which I like, these are just better)-
Look, I know it might sound strange
But suddenly I’m not the same I used to be
It’s like I’ve stepped out of space and time and come alive
Guess this is what it’s all about...
IT'S TAKING OVER ME OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH~
One of my all time Fave Eurovision songs.
Even though the different mikes were a little too much, I still think this one was robbed back in '06
I think we can all agree that that Je T'adore is the definition of robbed at Eurovision.
