Yeah, El Mundo is a pretty reliable source. I doubt that they would give so many details if they weren't sure of them.

A collaboration with Maná sounds potentially massive.

Yes Alejandro Sanz, I'm definitely here for La Tortura part dos. Oh Shaki why Iggy, you don'y need to get caught up in that mess.

'Police Escort' sounds like an amazing pop song title.

    This spring? Woah.

'Empire' really should have been released as the lead single from her last album and ideally would still have been a #1 single right now.

Shakira is so disappointing nowadays that this isn't the least bit exciting. And the potential Iggy collab doesn't give me high hopes.

I thought this was supposed to be a Spanish album?

Perhaps a "Sale el Sol" type of thing again?

I always love me some Shakira, although I was hoping for a Spanish one.

Why is she rushing? Spend time with your children! One of them isn't even born!

  13. Re: Shakira - Eleventh studio album (2015?)

Agreed, her latest album was a letdown.

  14. Re: Shakira - Eleventh studio album (2015?)

Between her live singing deteriorating more and more, her child not even born yet, and her latest album being easily the worst thing she's ever done by far, I am not sure how rushing a new era like this helps anything... But maybe she managed to get/create decent songs this time around.

Well clearly she wasn't rushing an era guys, haha.

I do wonder if when we do get this album, probably next year, it will be a bilingual album in English and Spanish, or if there will be two separate releases - one in English and one in Spanish - or it will just be a standalone album.

I really love good ol Shak, she truly is a force of nature, but...desperate attempts at relevancy are disappointing. "Can't Remember To Not-Sell You".mp3 was such a shitfest, a blotch upon her discography.

Her last album is good, guys. Just delete the duet with Rihanna and La La La from it, and you have a perfect album from start to finish.

La La La (Dare) (Brazil) (Brazilian Mix) (Brazil zil zil) (Shak Shak Reggaeton African Bumba Re-Fix) is a jam (La La).

I really like Can't Remember To Forget You actually. It was the rest of the album I didn't like. For me, she knows how to do a good up-tempo, but she hasn't done an amazing ballad since Laundry Service (Je t'aime à mourir notwithstanding).

Choose a language and stick to it, one at a time. She gets so caught up with international editions and song translations and the final product always end up rather messy, ever since She Wolf. Oral Fixate it: 8 or 9 Spanish tracks at the beginning of the year, 8, 9 English tracks at the end of the year.

Simplify, woman. That will help your albums so much.
