  1. Ah, Under My Skin is truly an incredible album. Would probably come it 25-30 in my All Time list. My Happy Ending, Fall To Pieces, and He Wasn't would probably be my picks but Take Me Away, How Does It Feel, Don't Tell Me... all so brilliant. I love her.
  2. Oh, David Bowie? Yep, time to stan for my life. This is my #2 in his catalogue, in competition with Station to Station, Low, Heroes and Blackstar for that title - incredible work all the way.
Lila, DJHazey and Eric Generic like this.
  3. Hunky Dory was one of the last Bowie albums I got around to, but when I listened to it last year as part of my Mega Bowie anthology project, I enjoyed it. Some excellent songs, although the production is typically early 70s (and thus not always to my taste).

    Favorite) Gamil
    Recommendation) Get It Right
    Underrated) Yaspop

Y.A.S. is a collaboration between Madonna-producer Mirwais and Lebanese singer-songwriter Yasmine Hamdan and they have only produced one album - Arabology. As the name suggests, it features (mostly) songs sung in Arabic but that shouldn't put you off to listen to it. Mirwais has created a modern masterpiece which combines traditional ethnic sounds and melodies with delicious electronica. It makes me a little sad that it didn't achieve greater success but I will always cherish this little album for its uniqueness and it holds a special place in my heart.

  8. Any and all Bowie love makes me very happy so I hope he ends up with a few more albums here.

Mirwais is a genius so I need to get to that Y.A.S album! I'm still slowly making my way through the list here but it's been great to listen to some albums in full that have been at the back of my mind for so long, especially things like Germfree Adolescents and Blown Away.
Zdarlight, DJHazey and Ironheade like this.
  9. Let try to get three more albums out here this afternoon. I stayed up till like 2am playing Halo with some Xbox online buddies last night and still had to get up for work at 6am. So I'm probably going to be too tired when I get home this evening.

  10. Now catching up, but Katy Perry's Teenage Dream is a really great album. Hummingbird Heartbeat is one of my favourites.

Wow. I just now found out that this album was recorded about 30 miles from my house. Anyway, Bob Mould is my favorite alt-rock songwriter and after his original group Hüsker Dü ground to a halt, his second group made the best post punk record ever. This one just gets better with age.
  15. I was actually counting on you giving "Remain" a second vote, but I was betrayed again!
Eric Generic and DJHazey like this.
  16. I'm a bit surprised I was the only voter who listed Sign O' The Times.

  20. I will, then the gang will probably want to play Halo again, but I'll call a midnight deadline. We were just having waaay too much fun on Big Team Battle last night (8 vs. 8) good times...good times.
