What three rules should be passed into Pop Law?:
I don’t know about three rules, so I’ll lost my top 10 “Popjustice friendly” pop albums of the millennium - limit one per artist:

    1) Marina & The Diamonds - The Family Jewels
    2) Tove Styrke - Tove Styrke
    3) Carly Rae Jepsen - E•mo•tion
    4) Robyn - Body Talk
    5) Kylie Minogue - Aphrodite
    6) The Pipettes - We Are The Pipettes
    7) Annie - Anniemal
    8) The Like - Release Me
    9) Beyoncé - Lemonade
    10) MIA - Kala
What so great about pop music?:
I love pop music. In all of its different guises. For me, it all started with a love of melody and song structure from hearing muzak/easy listening as a kid. From there, it progressed to The Beatles and early rock & roll. From '60s beat music to '70s power pop to '80s jangle to '90s indie/Britpop to '00s electro/synth pop, if it has a hook and it moves me in the right way, I will listen. I have tried to take a very critical and academic approach to music and studiously analyzed jazz, classical, avant garde, or whatever, but nothing ever has - or ever will - resonate(d) with me emotionally or physically like a well crafted pop song.
The three best popstars on the planet are...:
In what I would consider the "Popjustice World" - probably Kylie Minogue, Marina & The Diamonds, Tove Styrke, Carly Rae Jepsen, Robyn, Annie. One worst...that's tough, so many artists to despise...so I'll just go with the omnipresent Pitbull and call it a day.

Hmmm...Overall? The Beatles, Elvis Costello, Blur, Small Faces, The Jam, The Smiths, The Go-Betweens, The Dears, The Zombies, Bee Gees, Moody Blues, The Undertones, Buzzcocks, Altered Images, Fleetwood Mac, The Byrds, Raspberries, Badfinger, Big Star, Stone Roses, The La's, Exploding Hearts, Pulp, The Ronettes, The Beach Boys, Pezband, Television Personalities. Yeah, I could go on...my musical universe is pretty expansive.
What do you think would be the main pitfalls when it came to eating a cake baked by Halsey?:
You don't know where her hands have been...
In short, I'm obsessive about music. Record collecting, reading about it, writing and playing it. As a musician and songwriter, I'm always searching for that elusive perfect pop song.
