    Britney Spears

How hypocritical, is the previous page or two not pretty much just attacks on someone for claiming they heard Britney sing? So whats your news to add then?

    Nadine Coyle - Insatiable

Re: Nadine Coyle - 'Insatiable' (First Single) Wow, that really added so much more to the discussion than what I said. I apologise.

    Nadine Coyle - Insatiable

Re: Nadine Coyle - 'Insatiable' (First Single) In singing and writing I think he was definitely considered more talented, which is what was being compared with Cheryl and Nadine.

    Nadine Coyle - Insatiable

Re: Nadine Coyle - 'Insatiable' (First Single) It says a lot that Nadine simply cannot be mentioned without mentioning Cheryl too. Unfortunately, past examples show that simply having more talent means nothing in the pop world. Geri/Mel C, Robbie/Gary, Britney/Christina. In each example it was...

Cheryl Cole - Messy Little Raindrops

Yep, Billionaire was big. Still seems like quite an odd match though.

Yeah AngelX was right, I meant big diva power ballad voice!! But its not necessarily a bad thing, there are plenty of other artists out there to do big ballads, Britney brings something different, and like I said, I love her voice on slower songs. My Baby vocals are very different to Where Are You Now though...much softer, falsetto, Where Are You Now was much stronger. Both are lovely. I do love that she doesn't have a massive diva voice, makes her ballads so much more restrained and beautiful.

Baby Boy is good, but needs more SONG and less telephone conversation. Plus her vocals, while quite good and raw sounding, are a bit painful in some places. I'm not sure Britney has the voice for that kind of big ballad anymore. The closest I can think in her back catalogue were all from Oops.

Cheryl Cole - Messy Little Raindrops

I'll give you Robbie!! Hardly a fair comparison though. But anyways, it doesn't really matter that much I guess.

Cheryl Cole - Messy Little Raindrops

Forget statistics and go and ask some randomer on the street who the biggest popstar in the UK is - I bet the majority will name Cheryl straight off the bat, I doubt anyone will come up with Ellie Goulding or Alexandra Burke. A portion of it is how well you infiltrate people's consciousness, not...
