“Hands” gives me Body Language: The Next Generation. Those strings and the vibey bounce, double time vocal rhythm (not really rapping per se). It’s a great little track. I think if she just slapped a “featuring” tag on there for the other vocalist, it would put people at ease a bit.
It’s not a perfect comparison, but something about this set is giving me Foxes’ most recent album. The ‘80s undercurrent. The euphoria. The post-Carly Rae fantasy of it all.
