    Taylor Swift - 1989 (Taylor's Version) [Oct 27] + Re-Recordings

I do really like the original cover, but I always immediately think of the sunglass photo with NYC in the background when I think of the 1989 photoshoot. She actually said back in 2014 that the actual album cover was pretty much chosen as an accident. I love little details like that on the...

    Taylor Swift - 1989 (Taylor's Version) [Oct 27] + Re-Recordings

Sparks Fly definitely should have been the lead single or at least released much sooner in the singles run for Speak Now. She always had this habit of releasing a ballad as second single and then the ‘big hit’ of the era was released third. She obviously stopped that pattern with the 1989 era.

I'm also going to South Korea and Japan at the end of October. My time is very short considering the journey so I really really hope the jetlag isn't too bad.

    Taylor Swift - 1989 (Taylor's Version) [Oct 27] + Re-Recordings

The blue one isn't a bad cover but it just doesn't really match the theme of the original album's photoshoot.

Taylor Swift - The Eras Tour

My sister somehow managed to get me tickets to the Sunday show in Dublin for my 30th. I am beyond excited!

    Taylor Swift - 1989 (Taylor's Version) [Oct 27] + Re-Recordings

These re-recordings have been a genius idea for Taylor's profile because they've tapped in to the whole nostalgia factor, while also allowing Taylor to remain very current with her new albums. Also I'm so excited for the 1989 re-recording because it still remains my favourite album of hers. As...

    K-Pop (General Discussion)

I legitimately can't stop playing Unforgiven, it's the perfect package for me - song, visuals and the choreography. I am a little bit miffed at the mixed reaction it seems to be getting. I think it's an extreremely strong follow up to Antifragile. It's clearly carving out an identity for them...

Unforgiven is fucking amazing. That chorus is going to be stuck in my head for weeks. They legit get better with each comeback.

Oh my god Blue Blood is flawless. I’m nearly kind of mad they didn’t save it to be a title later down the line. I can’t get past it and the title track to listen to the rest of the album.

    K-Pop (General Discussion)

I AM is a total bop. IVE really delivered with this title, which is a relief as I didn’t like Kitsch at all. At this very moment I’d say it’s their second best title for me, after Love Dive.

    K-Pop (General Discussion)

I don't know what is going on with IVE but Liz has been appearing less and less with each comeback to the point that she's practically non-existent in Kitsch. She's supposed to be the main vocal and yet she doesn't even have 6 seconds of solo lines...

    UK Politics: General Despondency

Best of luck to him, but the boots he has to fill are massive. Nicola was pretty much the face of an entire movement in Scotland.

A worthy winner! The fact this was a winner’s single from a 2000s reality show is mind blowing when you think about it. It still holds up so well today and I feel like it’s one of those songs that will always sound fresh. I still remember rushing out to buy the single from Woolworths back in...

Round Round really is pop perfection. The way Mutya sings that chorus so effortlessly is just pure ear candy. It was definitely my next in line to win after Pure Shores. Rooting for Sound Of The Underground now, even though I do love Hole In The Head!

Opinions are opinions but to say Pure Shores ‘lacks a strong hook’… come on now. That chorus is a beast and I love the way it builds each time into an absolute crescendo by the last chorus. The flawless production of course elevates the whole thing, but even that time that girl group on X...
