Excuse the double post, but I will add that evermore is her strongest flex of song writing prowess - more so than any of her other albums.

Hits Different is my favourite song to come from Midnights. The structure of the song is genuinely exciting. It feels like a lost opener to a 00s rom-com. Her best album is difficult for me, but it has to be between 1989, folklore or evermore.

She was my most listened to artist of 2022, so I’m glad she’s releasing again! This is gorgeous.

Smile was a solid pop album, it just didn’t do anything too exciting. Only Love was low-key one of the best tracks.

The song and video are excellent! Completely obsessed. Critiques of the lack of body diversity are well deserved, though! Hopefully he’ll take it onboard moving forward.

I feel like it being her most famous and ubiquitous album is exactly why the re-recording won’t do these huge numbers. It’ll be interesting to see how it all plays out!

I wonder will 1989 (TV) actually live up to the commercial expectations seen in this thread. I feel like there are less tracks for the general public to discover because so many were hits originally, and it doesn't have the same... wistfulness placed onto it retrospectively by fans? I'm sure...

Her visuals/styling were at her best during the Joanne era and tour. It distilled her essence into something sleek and polished!
