Couldn’t agree more! It’s the one song where I’m convinced she actually wrote 80% of it and gave enough f*cks to record it. Not to even mention that - knowing what we know now - it’s such a haunting plea for help and her literally trying to hold on tite tight during dark days.

This. I badly wanna believe this but I don’t think Britney has set foot in a studio since last summer when she recorded Hold Me Closer. I’m sure she’ll do so again someday but right now it just doesn’t seem like she’s in album mode.

New material or at the very least an album consisting of completely mastered versions of songs such as Kiss Me All Over, State of Grace, Strangest Love, Unbroken, Whiplash and Take the Bait.

I’m mostly a casual Kylie fan and while simply Disco wasn’t it, I will not tolerate any Golden slander. I felt that worked quite nicely for her and Dancing is still a bop. Also, that era really laid the groundwork for her resurgence right now.

This is legitimately great. I’m so over the current sonic landscape and wouldn’t mind a return to the sounds from 2012-2015.

People just confirmed this as well. Sadly seems to be true. Wishing them both lots of strength. Can’t imagine this is easy on either of them.

I might be imagining this but I think I vaguely recall her mentioning in some random interview something about doing “fun stuff to her face”. EDIT: she mentioned it in a January 2014 InStyle interview. This is the full quote from back then:
