People making being ''millennial'' or ''gen z'' a thing, maybe because I was born in a year that gets tossed between those two gens but I'm sick to fucking death of these arbitrary labels that gets thrown around online and people forcing me into one gen or another based solely on my birth year.
ddd are you me @livefrommelbs?? except I never seen her live unfortunately.
And yeah enough years have passed (almost 20!) for me to say that Come Clean is one of my favorite songs of all-time and not just the 00s, the fusion of pop and rock and trance is killer! although I adore So Yesterday...
I didn't think we'd have two winners but what two incredible winners! Not Giving Up still gives me the rush after all these years...ditto for All Fired Up.
Thanks @DJHazey for running this, with the shout-out queens and comparing the current scores with the previous ones and even getting your...
4-Higher
3-Up
2-Not Giving Up
1-All Fired Up
Is my ideal ranking of what's left but any of these songs could take the crown and it would be a worthy winner to be honest.
Ego's got everything I need from a Saturdays bop: electric, upbeat production and every girl gets a line. one of their best singles and one of the best of that era of pop as well.
I know The Saturdays were known for their basic bops but even What About Us is too basic for them. But it gave them their long-desired number 1 so I can't be mad at its existence I suppose ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Of course I would lose a 10 after losing my lowest score fff but yeah If This Is Love is the perfect debut for The Saturdays, captures that 2008 vibe very well.
My villain moment has arrived! and it’s not the last because I have another very low score left
I mean…I get its appeal for some people but it’s not for me, never liked My Heart Takes Over and they have much better ballads, they all looked great in the video though.
I have always loved Forever Is Over since I first heard it back in 2009 and it still hits today, sorry for the people* who don't get it!
*of course I'm referring to the 'villains' who gave it a low score.
Missing You is…cute, the lyrics are sort of dark and Frankie’s robotic vocals are a bit iconic.
Hopefully My Heart Takes Over, she’s not a top 10 or 20/30 etc. kind of girl.
This is my exact reaction too.
Damn, all of those got high scores (7+) from me but based on the lowest...Keep Her or Fall would be ideal at this point.
I knew this was coming but…
RIP Turn Myself In, apparently people aren’t ready to get you yet but you’ll always have me.
People had taste in 2015, unlike now..
On the bright side, Not That Kinda Girl aka their second best b-side is still here.
