I have to say I’m really enjoying this season! There’s something very comforting and endearing about it.
Perhaps not as good as season two, but nowhere near as awful as season one. I love how rough around the edges it is.
Rhys remains a fantastic judge!
Yeah she was unbelievable in Melbourne last night but I was surprised at the lack of Call on Me and I Like U. I knew she hadn’t been performing Bikini Porn on this tour but was still sad about that as that’s one of my faves.
She’s just got so many bangers that the setlist was literally hit...
Yeah I was really despising both Cary and Brooke throughout season 3. I did enjoy the finale though and liked the route it took. It also definitely felt like an intended series finale, surprised it was only announced as that just days before. Had the backstage stories not come out, would there...
I got through for Sydney but everything was single seats only, and never left the waiting lounge for Melbourne.
Absolutely insane! Out of everyone I knew of trying to get tickets, only one that did was a friend of a friend.

Myself and ticketek will absolutely have Bad Blood if I’m this unlucky come Friday…
Same Again (For Love) is another absolute smash. I really cannot wait for this album. She just gets it right every single times.
But my god, I still can’t believe Heartbreak in the Making even exists. A euphoric bop that has been making my commute to work so much more tolerable since its release.
Take Me Out is great. A cute little bop.
I see on her store that Out of that Truck continues to be referred to as “new single” and Take Me Out as “new track”. So if they’re still pushing Out of that Truck I’d like a music video at some stage!!
It took some time to settle in, but I prefer Denim and Rhinestones to Cry Pretty.
The title track and Crazy Angels are so unbelievably bland and forgettable, but Velvet Heartbreak, Hate My Heart, Ghost Story, Wanted Woman, Poor Everybody Else, Garden… all fantastic country pop tracks.
There’s some good material here, but I do think that Now had some higher highs (Swinging, We Got Something, All In All, Home Now, Life’s About to Get Good).
At the moment I’m playing Brand New, Not Just a Girl, The Hardest Stone and Giddy Up the most. The rest might just need some more time to...
