I can scrape together a 6 track EP out of Lover but even the tracks that aren’t outright embarrassing are lesser versions of stuff she’s done better elsewhere (I.e I don’t see Afterglow and Daylight as top tier Taylor).

He's 3 for 3. So underrated. White Teeth and Little Faith encapsulate what I love about him - understated but so melodic. Hunter feels like a progression in his sound too. This album is a gem.

This is heavenly. Stand outs for me are ashera's song, blómi (the closest to the previous album), fare thee well, alyosha (which I still can't get enough off) and náttsongr. Maybe it's me being a bit Live, Laugh, Love but the outro really got me too - the word really is YES, Susanne.

But it would bump the second biggest track down the order and make it viable for album streams (which I KNOW would make next to no difference but still…)

No Good Reason needs to be like double the length, what a groove. Really enjoying this album overall - it travels through a lot of sounds but it feels really assured in doing it. A level up from Apolonio for me (which needed a few of the stand alone tracks he released around it to fully pop)

From what I heard a while back the sound was more “Florence + the Machine”-esque this time around, but not sure if that means full witch in the woods Flo or High As Hope Flo. Quietly perched though.

She sounded fantastic at the Oscars even if the song isn’t one of her best. Not sure I’ve heard a better performance from her in fact.
