Marina and the Diamonds - Electra Heart

Re: Marina and the Diamonds - Electra Heart (Album) & Singles Every time she sung the bridge, it was hard to watch. The rest wasn't bad though. I'm praying she gets some form of success over there though, she deserves it.

The film was genuinely sad in places. The breakdown she had just before going on stage seemed so horribly genuine. A couple of friends were like "It was for the camera's, no one famous gets married for love" and so on, but you could see she was hurting. A great film and a brilliant tribute...

It's also arguable that no one else could sing it and give it the same punch that she does. She might not be vocally perfect, we've all seen her live performances, but her ever so slightly strained vocals add something to it that I don't think any other voice could. The video should have just...

Marina and the Diamonds - Electra Heart

Re: Marina and the Diamonds - Electra Heart (Album) & Singles Radioactive needs to smash somewhere. It's just so perfect. The "ready to be let down, now I'm heading for a meltdown" lyric is my favourite of hers by a mile.

Teenage Dream is a flawless pop song, much like Toxic and so on. It's one of those songs that comes along every 3 or 4 years from a mainstream pop artist that just can't be questioned. It might not be everyone's personal favourite Katy track, but it's by far and away her best.

Any list that doesn't have Teenage Dream at the top is wrong. I had no idea she wrote Driveway either. It's such a fantastic song, on a surprisingly competent album.

Re: Cheryl Cole - Third Album / General Discussion Ghetto Baby sounds amazing. I'm liking Under The Sun and Sexy Den a Mutha as well.

    Kelly Clarkson - Stronger

Kelly Live Cannot stop watching this. She really is such a flawless live performer. That end note gives me chills. I wish she was as big now as she was back then, hell, she deserves it.

I think Breaking Your Own Heart or The War Is Over would be great singles.

    Madonna - 2012 World Tour

A genuine question here, has she ever actually acknowledged the similarity between them? Or has it simply been the media, and then the 'reductive' comment from Madge?

    Lana Del Rey

It's suffering from The One That Got Away syndrome now. The beat may not be as harsh as that, but it's still out of place. Why bother releasing a song if you don't think radio will take to it? Just go for National Anthem instead. Summertime Sadness is one of my favourites, I just hope the video...
