    Horror films

Saw The Shining at a cinema showing last night, it was the most I’ve enjoyed the movie ever. I’ve always thought it’s great, but the immersive experience of seeing it on the big screen pushed it to a new level. The sound design in particular was harrowing with a good quality, loud speaker...

    Horror films

Decided to kick-off my Halloween watching last night, I was in the mood for something more lighthearted so watched My Best Friends Exorcism. I really liked the cast & the movie started off strong, but I found myself losing interest as it did fall into those exorcism movie tropes we’ve all seen...

    Doja Cat - Scarlet

Listened through a couple of times and my favourite is Agora Hills, I’ve been going back to it non-stop today. Other early favourites are Wet Vagina, 97, Go Off, Can’t Wait & Blalut. I don’t think I enjoy Fuck The Girls too much, and while I understand it’s placement on the album, I don’t know...

    Pink - TRUSTFALL

Pink would be a fantastic choice. But a Lady Marmalade reunion? Keep it.

Kim Petras - Feed the Beast / Problématique

Just like Feed The Beast, this houses some absolute shit & some bangers. The two projects track lists are bizarre as everyone has already pointed out. Problematique has higher highs for me, and sounds a lot closer to older Kim. Confession is maybe my favourite thing she’s put out since Malibu...

    Horror films

Watched Werewolves By Night last night. Really liked the black & white aesthetic and the overall plot. At just 54 minutes it felt pretty rushed in places though (E.g. characters that barely utter a single sentence). Plus there was definitely some overacting taking place, particularly the main...

    Kylie Minogue - Tension

I’m surprised so many people dislike Kids, I absolutely love it.

Ellie Goulding - Higher Than Heaven

I love Somebody! Not familiar with the other artists at all, but it’s made me want to visit Higher Than Heaven which I realise I never actually listened to.

    Horror films

Re-watched The Ritual for the first time last night, the first hour focused on the witchcraft is so, so scary. The movie doesn’t fall apart once the creature is properly introduced, but there’s a definite step down. Overall, it’s still a good horror movie.

    Olivia Rodrigo - GUTS

I am obsessed with ballad of a homeschooled girl!

    Perrie Edwards - Solo Music

Not Myleene Klass having to sing next to Perrie ddd.

    Horror films

I watched Brooklyn 45 last night, it was great. A really interesting character driven movie & having just watched Oppenheimer the night before, I really enjoyed the continuity of the movie taking place in the late 1940’s/touching on a lot of the same themes. Definitely not an out & out horror...

    Olivia Rodrigo - GUTS

I don’t think I’ve ever listened to an artist where there’s such a major juxtaposition between my enjoyment levels of their uptempo & ballads. I absolutely love all of the rock bangers on this and detest all of the ballads. It’s like listening to two completely different artists.

    Doja Cat - Scarlet

Demons has grown on me so much, I’m playing it daily now. Paint The Town Red smashing is deserved, it’s amazing.

    That '90s Show (That '70s Show spin-off)

Yeah that’s disappointing from everyone involved.

Kim Petras - Feed the Beast / Problématique

Not this being leagues better than the studio version. She does look stunning here.

    Måneskin - RUSH!

I had kind of checked out but I’m really enjoying Honey, their best since I Wanna Be Your Slave for me.

Leigh-Anne - "My Love" (feat. Ayra Starr) + Debut Album

I fear the video is a bigger slay than the song.

    Kylie Minogue - Tension

Highest new entry? Good for her!

Cardi B - "BONGOS" (feat. Megan Thee Stallion) + General Discussion

Kind of echoing the majorities response in saying that the video is fantastic, but the song itself is a little one note. I agree with the response that it feels like one run-on sentence, there’s not many peaks & valleys to keep the song interesting throughout the listen. Having said that, songs...
