Her Blair witchcraft has got a hold on me
This isn’t the full on pivot to Kelela’s “Take Me Apart” that I wanted but I’ll take this. The layers, the lushness, and her voice will definitely keep me coming back for more.
It’s a bit of a shock of how good Born to the Night is. She genuinely sounds great on it and the production knocks. Besides Naked, this is the only other song on the album that she really sells.
