Just ended my Popjustice hiatus to say that the leaked snippet has SKALPT me and I am screaming as my wig catapults into the abyss.
That sounds much more massive and trendier than anything on FROOT, she is coming for that #41 SMASH y'all.
If I had to choose a Kesha ballad to say goodbye to it would certainly be this one, I'll never understand how it was prioritized over some of the other incredible ones that y'all probably did wrong.
Dirty Love is a BOP and Iggy Pop is truly entertaining but I can't really argue for it to stay...
That song and video are both strangely hypnotizing and I really like his singing. But yes, it will probably face its fate early in the rate and nobody will be very surprised.
Let's not forget that the older acts got a bit trashed last time around too.
What a MESS, this feels familiar. I swear if y'all boot Katy out way too early again.
I love Firework so very much but I'll allow it because the single cover was trash.
We can get rid of Warrior, Dirty Love, All That Matters, Rainbow Unicorn, and that one I forget entirely before Katy is...
Both sound like they have the potential to sound really good in studio form, I'll reserve judgements.
At this point anything is a welcome change, I know she's still working with other artists to afford her life so it's understandable that her own independent things develop slowly.
I would love if she went as pure pop as Electra Heart again but I'd hope she'd stick to more organic production rather than the flavor of the month producers on EH that make it feel so dated.
I would die at a Carly collab, they would make magic.
Nn I was part of the "Problem" with my 11 for that song in the Shania rate but to be fair I had like 20 potential 11's and I thought I picked one that might be trashed like most ballads in most rates. Almost positive this is the only time my 11 has ever won.
Poor my 11 in the One Direction...
Comparing two completely different pop stars that aren't even from the same generation, never stop doing the most with our most vanilla pop girl nn.
If anything Britney is one of Selena's predecessors and inspirations rather than a rival.
Bad Liar is fine and I will bop it for a while.
I guess I would say it's not really fair to say Shakira was on auto pilot as I'm quite sure she invested countless hours/days/months into this album as she has with all the others; it's more of the case of the final result not quite aligning with a lot of people's expectations, but that's fine...
My favorite thing about all of this is that there are only like 3 actual Katy stans on this forum yet everyone is absolutely doing the Most just to expedite the process of dragging her until KP5 in 2025.
A bit sad people in the third rate winners rate won't be exposed to one of their many other fantastic songs but I guess this one is so iconic for a reason.
Thank you various hosts for your efforts! Now to go bop to some of my all-time faves that y'all trashed!
I have to do this, so many iconic songs!
Most of the forum has an intense hard-on for the entire Salute album and everyone made it clear from the start they were sending Move straight to the top. Everything else was a mess, Black Magic missing top 2 to a song with virtually no 11's was kind of...
