The holy grail is surely the “banned” performance of What Do I Have To Do?
Looking at that list I’m sure there is enough there for a TOTP “unaired” special. Maybe on an anniversary or something?
Slightly off topic (I’ve lost track of TOTP recently) there seem to be a lot of 90s retrospectives on channel 5 recently. Just watching one on 1990 and it’s made me google both lead singers for Soup Dragons (Sean Dickson) and EMF (James Atkin) and I read that they both came out as gay...
Indeed! I suspect this may happen more often if the big artists get their transatlantic releases synched. Madonna, Phil Collins, Wham! The releases are all over the shop at the moment. But then again…. they would peak much more quickly in the UK than the US!
