Sugababes - "When the Rain Comes" + 9th Album

I let go of all new music expectations years ago so when we got the Flowers cover, When The Rain Comes and The Lost Tapes it was a genuine feeling of joy.

Perrie - "Forget About Us" + Debut Album

Don't know why but when I listened to it, I got Emma Bunton's "What Took You So Long?"

    Sugababes

I feel I'm back in the early 2000s. First of all, shame on The Sun for writing such drivel and then having the nerve for blaming it on the "fans". Secondly, why do we presume to know anything? All we've ever gotten are biased accounts, media speculation and fan speculation. We were not there...

Sugababes - "When the Rain Comes" + 9th Album

Mutya and Keisha's outfits reminded me of the Freak Like Me styling. Freak was my big intro to Sugababes, my first ever song addiction, so to see it performed like that was my 16 year old self's dream.

Sugababes - "When the Rain Comes" + 9th Album

The girls look and sound incredible and Siobhan is really getting into it now, she's properly allowed herself to be immersed in the band which is beautiful to see. They look and sound so cohesive. There's something about them just a little bit different to the other girlbands that have come...

    Formula One

I'm still in shock over what's happened. I think after an adjustment period, Lewis will really push Charles and while other drivers might benefit from that, I'm not sure Charles is that type. We will see.

The PR spiel as "thank yous" is cute, but that's what it is...PR spiel. If the song had taken off, we would have seen a video. The next one hopefully will see a visual, when they're willing to launch the album properly.

Also - I like the artwork. The text positioning makes it look like rain. I see what they're doing.

    Sugababes

I remember reading some thing one time that Victoria had Push The Button on her phone as a ringtone.

    Disappointing Comebacks

Birthday felt as though they were trying to make a viral moment happen. It's a limp track.

Shaznay Lewis - "Good Mourning" + Pages (May 17)

This track is luscious and makes me miss the times of quality pop music with actual structure and meaningful lyrics. As others have said, this is up there with the strongest of All Saints material. Love it.

    Disappointing Comebacks

Gwen Stefani. Besides the singles, I didn't appreciate the first album and thought maybe they'd get it right for the second. They didn't for my ears sadly.

Nice to see JOY (Push The Button) break into Sugababes' top 5 on Spotify and Joy Anonymous' top list at 3.

Sugababes - "When the Rain Comes" + 9th Album

I think it's my all time favorite of all their televised performances. They look so cohesive and comfortable these days.

Might have been the only one relieved when they gave it away. It was far too The Saturdays for me.
