No, for the unreleased tracks - I hope they make it on YouTube or a CD release. I never even knew of any live recordings other than him doing "You Don't Love Me" at a Royal Charity event that was posted on YouTube.

Thanks for this info! I don't understand why Cherry Pop didn't give it the 2 disc treatment. They do it for most other reissues now. Someone had mentioned on the SDE website that DSL was a big seller for Cherry Red, so I always imagined that Universal would just start putting his music up on...

    Bananarama

Well, I had to google who she was. And that's from someone who read both Call Her Miss Ross and the Mari Wilson books. Baby Clyde, you know more about my faves than I do.

That's a good comparison. That you know who Cindy Birdsong is, just blows my mind.

I'm intrigued you mentioned 'More Than Physical'. It's one of my favorites (both the album and single mix), however I always wonder if it would ever translate into a live track.

What are your top 10 albums of the 70s?

If you saw 'When We Rise', there was a short moment when Sylvester is introduced into the storyline. I honestly hope that if a film is ever made of him, they do him justice. He does a fantastic version of 'Band of Gold' which should have been a hit for him.

    Dead Or Alive

I'm reading Phil Harding's 'From the Factory Floor' and he mentions that DOA initially brought 4 tracks for SAW to produce. He says that one is You Spin Me Round, but doesn't mention the other 3. Is it known what the other 3 songs were?

Heartbreaking. Interscope only released Hole In The Head, which failed to break the Top 75 and the album was shelved in America.

I have never heard of this! Was it for the DSL sessions or the tracks he recorded after? I have always wanted to hear the demos he recorded that nearly got him signed to ZTT.

    Dead Or Alive

Speaking of which, whatever became of them? James Hyde's a soap actor in America...who made no mention of Pete's death.

I had asked Mutya, Keisha, and Siobhan on various forms of social media if a) we are getting new music and b) if they are still together. And I got no response. It's all very telling.

If you find a better quality upload of the alternate 'Baby U Left Me' video, please post it. Has 'Love Or Money' charted anywhere, or is that silly of me to ask?

But how bad could things have been for Siobhan to just leave during such a successful album campaign? And your right, LT&H should have been the start of a new album.

    Does anyone remember Cicero?

This is the part where I hope this release sells well enough to 'pluck' the artist from obscurity, and they start a campaign to relaunch their career. I seem to do this with a lot of Cherry Pop/Red reissues.

I can't believe they covered Two Can Play That Game. I love that song...

The entirety of this fascinates me to no end. Wasn't it later revealed that Heidi was the last to know of Mutya's leaving? It had to hurt because of how long they were together. If so, I understand why Heidi wouldn't have wanted Mutya back, because she may have made a closer bond with Amelle...

    All Saints - Red Flag

This morning, Red Flag was #165 on US iTunes and now it's gone. I'm bummed. I was hoping the All Saint love would cross the Atlantic.

Land of the Living is such a phenomenal album. I think it was produced by the people behind Faithless...?

    Boy George & Culture Club

Do you have the soundtrack to Slaves Of New York? 'Boyfriend' was included on that and that's the only way I seen it released. Scratch that. It's 'Girlfriend' that's on that soundtrack.

    Shakespear's Sister - Hormonally Yours

I was always bothered how London Records dropped SS after I Can Drive didn't hit. Considering Siobhan's history with that label and not give #3 a chance is incredulous. I get Marcella was not with her, but all things considered...Marcella's solo album didn't exactly set the charts on fire.
