    Katy Perry - "I'm His, He's Mine" (Sep 13) + 143 (Sep 20)

I would be inclined to agree, but then I think of Kesha, who spent the past ten (or arguably nearly twenty) years fighting tooth and nail for her freedom against the man/abuser that Katy is now actively employing, and I think... womp womp! She indeed did make her bed. If anything, maybe she'll...

    Katy Perry - "I'm His, He's Mine" (Sep 13) + 143 (Sep 20)

I can't wait until September 21st when, after precisely one day of people dragging this album left, right and centre, we collectively never talk about this shambolic era again

    Katy Perry - "I'm His, He's Mine" (Sep 13) + 143 (Sep 20)

I honestly can’t believe they left that answer in there… shows total disregard for why people are rightfully angry and upset and also confirms that it was an active choice she made. Did anyone actually put an ounce of thought into this era or

Taylor Swift - The Tortured Poets Department

I will say that TTPD went off more than Midnights at the tour for me... some of the slower songs from the latter album really felt like a damp squib at the end of an extremely solid setlist

    Camila Cabello - C,XOXO

I’ve barely listened to the album in its entirety since it dropped, but B.O.A.T. and He Knows are still two of my favourite songs from this year. Classics!

    Katy Perry - "I'm His, He's Mine" (Sep 13) + 143 (Sep 20)

Katy’s on the Call Her Daddy podcast tomorrow (Wednesday). I wonder how… open she’ll be about her decisions this era

I've had that Mura Masa song on repeat for the past week... so good

    Tinashe - Quantum Baby

Superlove Gravity Life's Too Short Cold Sweat They're the first ones that came to mind but there are so many more I could choose from, a bulletproof discography!

    Katy Perry - "I'm His, He's Mine" (Sep 13) + 143 (Sep 20)

Honestly, as the #1 hater of this era, I'd probably be living for it if a) the music was good and b) it didn't involve Dr. Luke... she looks incredible and I don't think there's anything even slightly egregious about a pop girl pandering to the gays, as they're usually the target audience...

    The 'ALIEN' Movies

Just got back from seeing Romulus and fucking loved it! Genuinely scary and visually so, so beautiful – definitely one of my favourites of the franchise

Sabrina Carpenter - Short n’ Sweet

Oh this is FANTASTIC... Taste and Bed Chem are absolute masterpieces but this is a very solid album overall

    Katy Perry - "I'm His, He's Mine" (Sep 13) + 143 (Sep 20)

But on the other hand, what reception did she expect to get? Not only is the music itself lazy and uninspired, but she's the first main pop girl to work with Luke post-allegations. It should have been obvious that it wouldn't slip under the radar quite as easily as some of his other recent...

Taylor Swift - The Eras Tour

I went last night and, like others in this thread have said, seeing tidbits and clips of the show online really does pale in comparison to seeing it in person. I'm very much a casual Taylor fan, however I think I might actually have to activate my Swiftie card. She's a phenomenal live performer...

    Katy Perry - "I'm His, He's Mine" (Sep 13) + 143 (Sep 20)

Do you know what the solution is to not getting a scribbled-on album cover? Not ordering this pile of shite in the first place!

Lady Gaga - "Die With a Smile" (with Bruno Mars) + 7th Album

    This is really good

    Katy Perry - "I'm His, He's Mine" (Sep 13) + 143 (Sep 20)

The thing is, that article didn't even mention Luke once! It's redundant to write articles like that without addressing why the era might be underperforming – I'm waiting for one of these publications to actually talk about the issue head-on, rather than baselessly calling her a flop and...
