I love that gif too, it doesn't need context.

This Time I Know It's A Rate- The PWL/SAW rate 1989-1993- THE WINNER!

If I Have To Stand Alone has done very well here and it's well-deserved. I think How Could He Do This To Me, which wasn't even included on the (original) album could have worked as the follow-up to Happenin' All Over Again.

Sonia had great singles with SAW (in fact the album is great). Listen To Your Heart is my favourite single from her and perfect pop. It always seemed so effortless (if that makes any sense).

I love (watching) Art and (listening to) Pop. Leave Up And Down alone, it's a great b-side.

    Agnes

Great to have Agnes back! I listened to Limelight first and liked it a lot. It feels like a classic Agnes song, updated. Her voice is so so good! Then I listened to I Trance and... what a song! Not the kind of music I normally listen to but it sounds amazing! A brave move for her and I can't...

    Will Young - Lexicon

What a beautiful album this is! Everything about it is so elegant, his voice, the lyrics, the production... well everything I get the Echoes comparisons and since that album is possibly, probably, my favourite album of this decade, of course I just love Lexicon too.

Good to see Sybil in the top 20 with two of her songs! I guess it won't take long before When I'm Good And Ready leaves but I liked this new direction for Stock Waterman.

Love Pains lasting this long is a surprise for me, I actually prefer Better Off Without You. A pity we didn't get another PWL album from Hazell.

Isn't it about time to get rid of A Cloud In A Box and The White Dress?

I think No More Ballads is one of the more interesting b-sides in this rate, but that doesn't say much I guess. Ray I honestly can't remember anything about this. *playing it* I keep forgetting it as it's playing. This is how I feel when I listen to Legacy.

    Will Young - Lexicon

Both All The Songs and My Love are fantastic! Will Richard X produce the whole album? I hope so, Echoes is one of my favourite albums and 85% Proof was a disappointment for me.

This Time I Know It's A Rate- The PWL/SAW rate 1989-1993- THE WINNER!

So many great songs left just before the top 50! I just love some of those early 90's flops like Did I Say Ti Amo, If You Belonged To Me and Running Back For More and it would have been great to see them do a bit better.

I've been going back to rating the songs for this part quite a few times. Now I'm finally done and I have no idea what is actually going to win this.

Great start to this rate! I gave 6 songs a 0 and 5 a 1 and they are all out already. So no surprises for me and hopefully it will continue like this (but I doubt it).

I hope you're right! It's difficult to understand how SAW could produce absolute brilliant songs but also rubbish such as The Fat Slags.

Going through all the Shakin Stevens songs felt like forever. Never going to listen to them again. Listening to Sinitta now and things are at least good again. It's striking how many covers were released, and how few of them I like.

I started rating the songs a while ago but didn't think I would be able to finish, but now with a few more days I think I will. I don't know how to decide what will get an 11 though. It's between two songs and I can't seem to decide which one I love the most.

    Bananarama

So happy with this new album! Great album opener with Love In Stereo (it's been a long time, too long, since we had an album from them). And On Your Own is the perfect closer. For some reason I like that the last song on an album is a slow one. Lots of good songs in between those two too.

Emma Bunton - My Happy Place

Totally agree with you, love her new song! I don't know why I'm a bit surprised since she's had some great songs before.

Showin Out!- The Stock Aitken & Waterman /PWL Rate 1984-1988- AND THE WINNER IS....

Thanks, I'm very pleased to see it doing so well! I think all three remaining songs are great, but hopefully the one that I really love will be number one.
