Sugababes - The Lost Tapes (Deluxe)

Well, that took quite some time! But it's obviously such a release that the album was released at all. And that it's good.

    Sugababes

It is a brilliant read! Good to see that you and Blayke were there too. I was less than 5 km away, but didn't know about the event until an hour or so before it happened.

    Sugababes

So good to see them having success in Brockwell Park like this!

    Sugababes

    Yes! They're so beautiful!

    Sugababes

Very nice! I've updated my little web-page with Flowers: http://www.sugababes.org And yes, I know, it's amateurish.

Ariana Grande - Dangerous Woman World Tour

I remember Martyn from when he still was Mariah's Head Lamb, and he was always one of the good guys. This is all so sad now.

Ariana Grande - Dangerous Woman World Tour

I've read through the last day's posts in this thread now, and it's draining. Mostly because it drives home how horrible this atrocity was. But it also reminded me why I love the Popjustice forum, which I don't read nowadays the way I used to do. Many familiar names. I wanted to go to this...

Ariana Grande - Dangerous Woman World Tour

This is disturbing. Not only is it extremely low - targeting children is nastier than the soft target tactic some terrorists have used lately. But that it was done with a bomb shows that it was more prepared than many similar attacks. These are bad people, and if it was only the suicide bomber...

Billy Joel - Any fans on here?

Bac in the autumn of 1977 I was mesmerised by Just the Way You Are. I was unlike anything I'd heard before, and just sucked you in. A bit like Paul Simon, but maybe more soulful. It's been good to have him around after that, even though I haven't listened that much to his records. My favourite...

    R.I.P. George Michael

I'm not surprised. Thanks for sharing! I've always liked George, ever since he provided a ray of light in what for me was a dreary winter of 82/83. He will be sorely missed by a lot of us.

    R.I.P. George Michael

2016 has been so cruel in this regard. Watching TotP from 1982 the other day with John Peel being enthusiastic about Wham I remember feeling the same at that time. RiP, George Michael.

    U.S. Politics

This thread has worked as an echo chamber to some extent, but people here are openminded and alert enough to still be realistic. I thought that the Democratic campaign was, in a way, worse in this regard, not properly reaching out to the ones who might vote Republican. But if the main incentive...

What Kind Of Fuckery Is This? - UK Politics General Discussion

This might bear repeating: In the long run the only way for Britain to ignore its parliament in this regard is to abolish it altogether. And that won't happen any time soon, we can be sure of that. I don't know exacltly how pro-EU the parliament is at the moment though.

    U.S. Politics

Trump is such an amateur. Reactive, not proactive. He has some points, but they're simple and populist, when that is not was is needed with most of these issues. Fun to be able to see the debate live though.

    Ariana Grande - Dangerous Woman

Ugly guy with tattoos and boring clothes, and then Ariana sneaks up: I almost wish that she could stop doing these things, or I might turn into a fan one of these days. The chap is called Mac Miller by the way, and they're in some kind of relationship.

Mutya Keisha Siobhan - Album Discussion

Did they really need to prolong the period for this?! If they have those documents they must have had them all along. To not find them and show them sooner could mean that they're very messy and don't care much about these things. Or is this part of some highly refined legal work?

Cruel Youth - “Sunny” + General Discussion

Apart from the more direct Winehouse/Del Rey influences on somwthing like Diamond Days isn't there also some Adele in the foundation? Sometimes I wish this woman could be herself more, or create properly original personas like Bowie did. But I'm not going to complain as long as her stuff isn't...

    U.S. Politics

This performance wouldn't change those who like him because they feel he's a rebel against the establishment and on their side, but Trump needs to also connect with the traditional Republican voters to have a proper chance. I have been worried that he's so telegenic that it would blind people so...
