    Brits 2009

Is anyone else thinking Pet Shop Boys, Girls Aloud and U2 all in the same building at the same time could lead to a potentially end-of-the-night/pier amazing 'mash-up' of 'Where The Streets Have No Name/Can't Take My Eyes Of You' (Neil does the first verse, Bono comes in a la Elton John and...

    Masters At Work Discussion

Yeah, 'The Bomb' was Kenny 'Dope' Gonzales. Don't forget 'To Be In Love' with India, 'It's Alright, I Feel It' with Jocelyn Brown, 'Beautiful People' by Barbara Tucker, 'Voices In My Mind' by Voices, 'Elements Of Life', 'Ride On The Rhythm' and their remixes of 'Around The World' by Daft Punk...

For the aid of all our under-35's this is not a reference to bumming, but to 'War Games', a 1983 film with Matthew Broderick.

I've only tried the Playlist links as I'm already signed up. The 'Free For All' one took a bit of time but it loaded after about 30 seconds. And SuperCracko's songs are there now. And.... so is 'Stand On The Word' which I just put on so that looks like it really :-(

I've just added 'Be The First To Believe' to the 'Free For All' playlist so IT IS DEFINITELY WORKING. That song should be number 1.

Sorry PJ, the 'Free For All' one is now working for me. I've just added Quincy Jones to it. Don't worry, it wasn't one of his jazz tracks.

    Spotify

Those links that PJ posted to their playlists (on the story on the front page) aren't working for me. Is anyone else having trouble? It just keeps saying 'Playlist not found'.

I'm quite enjoying the 'Radio' part. I've been listening to it for about 3 hours and only heard 4 adverts. Donna Summer's just come on. I have it set to 70's Disco, Soul and Funk. It is actually just like listening to my mp3 player on shuffle though...

    BBC Sound of 2009

I am hoping for the sake of potential success that Frankmusik has stalled at number 14 or somewhere similar. If he wins it will be the kiss of death for him. Next stop, Mercury Prize nomination!

    A Sad Farewell to Woolworths

Oh yes, used to get all my Star Wars figures from there! Until it turned into McDonalds with HMV next door to it.

    A Sad Farewell to Woolworths

Oooh, do you remember the old, OLD Woolies in Chester? The HUGE one on the main street. Next is there now. I used to love that shop. Possibly the best Woolies ever. *has memories of buying 'Welcome To The Pleasure Dome' and 'Waking Up With The House On Fire', Christmas 1984*

    Pet Shop Boys - Yes

Re: Pet Shop Boys - Yes (New Album Discussion) Just to make my feelings known, I agree with the people here who think that 'Integral' would have been a bad choice as a single. I think it would have set PSB back a lot more in the public's perception than they already were in 2006. It sounds too...

    Popjustice Viewers' Poll

Looks a lot like my list of things that didn't appear. I also can't believe that Frankmusik didn't get a mention. Some people are too lazy with their choices, in my opinion.
