Overall an entertaining season but I agree with the comment that the panel is tired. Definitely some fresh blood is needed. For me, Ross and Carson have had their day.
Sasha winning is important although from the edit we received, I'm not sure I could wholeheartedly say she was the best...
My opinion on performances and outfits have never been so at odds with what the judges think.
Show is moving from a Friday night "Must Watch" to the "I'm folding my clothes on Sunday morning" day time slot.
I feel as though Shawn puts out the music that everyone else wants him to put out and ultimately, he doesn't have a strong point of view as an artist.
I'd love him to go off and do a Miley's Dead Petz - he needs to let loose and find himself.
She's here in Canada on Spotify.
We get a weird version of Taller here. Mutya on the cover but no Gotta Be You, Follow Me Home or Red Dress with Mutya on them. Drat.
People is so unexpected and refreshing. Something about the vocals brings me back to being 17 and hearing them in their prime, even though vocally they're sounding better than ever.
I'm thinking the Olympia is a perfect fit. Coming to Belfast, it makes sense Dublin would happen at the same time.
I'm confident they'll announce something for Dublin at the very least.
This is a solid single but I guess I was hoping for something a little more...punchy?
Still, sounds great and in the style he's carved out for himself.
I politely disagree.
A documentary selling point to the general TV audience would be the lineup changes and the drama.
They're trying to re-establish themselves as a credible band, it wouldn't make sense at this juncture.
If ever we needed reminding that they're powerhouse vocalists it was these performances. There isn't anyone who do it like they can.
No Regrets, in particular, sounds sublime. I really don't care for Flowers but they sound great on it and a wise choice considering how current it is.
A pleasant surprise to see Today playlisted on BBC Radio 2. It's fantastic to see momentum.
I've no idea how it works but I wonder will other regional stations pick it up based on this. Does anyone know how any rotations it will get being A-Listed and also Record of the Week?
Very exciting that we will have new performances!
Since we are playing the guessing game, I'd expect them to perform Today.
I'm going to say Stronger for the throwback (it goes down a treat in the live settings, I'd love to see 1.0 give it a real moment)
For the cover, I just want them to...
On the standard issue she also gets the last line on Back In The Day:
"Back in the day when I was young, I'm not a kid anymore but some days I sit and wish I was a kid again"
Still a little trippy.
In time for next Christmas? Why not drag the campaign out and wait until we are a little hungry again for something new.
Whatever they do, I trust them and their management. They've not faltered yet.
It's what I'd be doing if I was their team.
Release digitally, release a 2nd version digitally, release physically, on multiple formats.
If they've a hard-core fanbase, give them the opportunity to buy it as many times as they like. They want wrapping paper? Sure - have it.
I'm wondering if they're reserving a few bonus tracks for a physical release. I'm fully expecting they'll release a physical, it's what their fans grew up on.
Victory has really grown on me, I love the slightly altered chorus.
My favourites keep shifting around, I can't even pinpoint anymore. I think it's my all time fave output by the Sugababes.
Almost at 216K (+55K since my last post) and has moved up to 7th on Sugababes currently most played on Spotify.
Just for context: Louise's Super Magic is at 67K, Roisin O's 2023 is on 6K and Bimini's Different Kinds of People is on 82K on Spotify and all have been playlisted by BBC Radio 2...
