Mayte's book really offered a fascinating insight, revealing that he was easily led into the religious ideas he adopted in the 90s. Anyone who was keen for the documentary should read her book if they haven't already.

I really despite the Reason photoshoot, the angle of the album cover feels so odd. I am interested to see how I feel about the music when it's not presented in that artwork!

Lady Gaga - "Abracadabra" + Mayhem (Mar 7)

Has there been any chat about her touring Mayhem?

Lady Gaga - "Abracadabra" + Mayhem (Mar 7)

This feels like track 9 fan-fave on an album that would never be released as a single but here we are. Progress.

Lady Gaga - "Abracadabra" + Mayhem (Mar 7)

The middle 8 is just glorious, I'd like someone to sample the opera bit into a club track.

    Sugababes - 9th Album

Interesting that it seems the girls find out the final setlist from their team. I suppose with arena tours there's a lot of logistics to think about in terms of setlist planning but I'd have thought they'd be at a stage where they can say what needs to be included.

Lady Gaga - "Abracadabra" + Mayhem (Mar 7)

I truly love Gaga but her writing a song about how time is all you need to soar again following a climate disaster where whole communities have flattened is hilarious at best. She's looking to the crowd like it's such a slam dunk of a lyric and I just can't help feel embarrassed. Anyway, we...

    Spice Girls

I just can't imagine a situation where Geri had carried on, she struggled with touring and as a result, she lost a sense of influence within the group. The other four were willing to work hard on touring and it feels like they carried the group to a place that it couldn't have reached with Geri.

    Britney Spears

Amnesia is definitely one of her most abstract songs, I always imagined a video where she's hanging out in a 50s diner that is crumbling down around her. She's drinking a milkshake whilst dust from the crumbling walls fills the air.

Lady Gaga - "Abracadabra" + Mayhem (Mar 7)

You'd have thought the floppage of Joker 2 would have lit a fire under her team, it feels like it has now been forgotten about so it is the perfect time to strike but nothing.

    Lady Gaga

I suppose it might have been her A&R who heard it and reached out hoping she would record it rather than her personally wanting the song. I wouldn't read too much into it.

    Sugababes - 9th Album

Some of the dates seem to not be selling well so I'm wondering if an announcement would give them a platform for another round of promo.

    Girls Aloud

I've always loved Damn, it really brings that classic Xenomania sound. The 'doing it' bits, the bridge, the cheerleader chants. I've never understood why people say it's one of the weaker tracks.

    Britney Spears

That sounds like the only way to tell this story. The story of her fame is so visually memorable to the public that it's going to be so hard to recreate some of the events given people will remember them so vividly. It's going to need real authenticity behind it to balance that out and adjust...

    Sugababes - 9th Album

Cute idea, they drip feed us a new album called 'Sacred' by dropping Sacred 1 EP then subsequent Sacred 2 and 3 EPs which make a complete album.

    Kylie Minogue

I randomly gave 'Body Language' a spin for the first time in about 20 years and she had no right serving such elegant pop to 16 year olds like me. 'Loving Days' is surely one of her most lovely slower songs. Is this album generally considered underrated or what? I don't hear much chat about it.

    Britney Spears

It doesn't make sense given that song would literally take 30 minutes of her time to record. Maybe she was just too burnt out to even engage in anything that wasn't forced upon her.

    Girls Aloud - Future Plans

You wonder how much the judges were paid for their appearances on this, their input is very brief and their comments are so bland, Davina gives more critique than they do.

    Victoria Beckham

The garage sound was a very brief trend and the public seemed to go sour on it quite quickly. I think she went with Not Such An Innocent Girl as a return as a pop artist (rather than reading as a continuation of the Forever sound) and to tap into some of the Britney hype at the time...

Am I deluded to be anticipating another surprise Christmas Eve drop?
