For me, it's the hype that has killed this album. It's an alright, quite pleasant piece of work on its own terms but worthy of all the plaudits and awards? Not to my ears, I'm afraid.

I dislike the Starry Eyed artwork intensely - she looks so rabbit in headlights. So far, I've been left cold with the music - it's passable but doesn't grab me, a bit beige. She exudes absolutely no star quality whatsoever in her videos. But I'm still willing to be converted by a killer song!
