It's the time of year for one of my favourite Annie tracks: April

    Top of the Pops BBC4

Late catching up with the July-August episodes but some proper tunes: Dubstar - No More Talk Robyn - Do You Know (What It Takes) Dannii - All I Wanna Do Good to see Jayne Middlemiss presenting too. Updated chart rundown is a mess though.

    Top of the Pops BBC4

Late to this party but North & South had a total bop and the singer was so fit.

    Top of the Pops BBC4

The latest two episodes (after R Kelly meant virtually all of April 1997 was skipped) really brought home the euphoria of May 1997 with D:Ream with their election anthem and Katrina and the Waves conquering Eurovision. Really felt like the UK could succeed at anything at that point. Two terribly...

    T'Pau

"You pulled the statues down you've got your new pronoun I don't think it even makes you happy Keep looking right behind cause you will be next in line Someone new will run you out of town" Wow you're not wrong, it's almost threatening.

    T'Pau

Not sure I'm afraid, I only got there as she was ending with China in Your Hand. They were on quite early with Sophie E-B on in the slot just before Human League.

    T'Pau

Seeing T'Pau support Human League in Cardiff tomorrow and also made the mistake of visiting Carol Decker's social media page, JK Rowling re-tweets and all. Depressing.

UK Ladies Not #1s of 90s Rate | Winners Crowned!

Don't Worry is one of my all time favourites. I have so much respect for Kim for coming back from Mel's untimely death with such an uplifting song.

    Films About LGBTQIA+ People

Beautiful Thing is an excellent film that has really stood the test of time. I recommend The Way He Looks, a beautiful film that explores similar themes:

    Depression

I can relate to a lot of what you are going through with a sort of normalised low mood and not wanting to socialise. I'm sure if you reach out to your friends they will be keen to catch up. As the previous poster said do seek help but just having someone to talk to while you are grieving will...

    Depression

Hang on in there, you're not a failure and good luck with the interview. Sounds like you have been dealt a very rough hand by your landlord/housemate but your luck finding a place will change I am sure.

    Kim Appleby

Someone has posted a very comprehensive set of Kim's solo albums/single remixes on YouTube: https://youtube.com/@kimapleby The World Today is a Mess also has picked up loads of views in the last few months with line dancers:

    Booty Luv

Totally agree. I saw them at Plymouth Pride last year and they didn't even perform it. They were still amazing.

    Dubstar - Two

Love Two too...what festival are they doing? Would be great to see them live. The singles from Two are all top quality, outside of those my favourites are Lighthouse and Blood. Some of the extended versions are amazing too.
