Raveena - Where the Butterflies Go in the Rain

Lucid was fantastic but this just sounds so expensive and you can really live and breathe within it. It’s triumphant.

    Ibeyi - General Discussion

At 26 minutes long it’s very short after a 5 year wait.

    Charli XCX - CRASH

Imagine Beg for You having some amazing 90 second outro like Visions. There really was the potential to elevate this into something substantial but they just want the GP to stream on repeat obviously. Maybe AG Cook can remix the album for us.

Shura - "Recognise" + I Got Too Sad For My Friends (May 30)

Not at all! I just remember her asking whose ready for Shu3 on twitter in mid 2020 and then it was just a cruel tease. I know we’ve reached a similar gap now between albums. The wait for the 2nd seemed eternal however Forevher still seems pretty new to me.

Shura - "Recognise" + I Got Too Sad For My Friends (May 30)

I feel like this will take forever to come out but excited for it all the same!

Cassandra Jenkins - My Light, My Destroyer

I’ve been enjoying this since it came out but I’m finding a real peace in this and the companion album over the past couple of weeks. It’s soothing me.

Erika de Casier - Still + General Discussion

Album of the year surely. It keeps on giving and is so satisfying to play out the end of 2021.

    FKA Twigs - Eusexua

From a Nylon article, looks like the mixtape is dropping January 14. FKA twigs’ new mixtape arrives January 14, 2022 via Young Recordings/Atlantic. While twigs hasn’t yet announced the project’s title, fans believe, and twigs herself has hinted, that it will be called Capri Sun, a name that...

    Charli XCX - CRASH

Are these Charli’s or Mike’s vocals on the remix?

Erika de Casier - Still + General Discussion

The Isabella Lovestory remix of Drama is out. Slows it down more than the album version. The album is such an experience, I can’t get over it and can’t wait to get lost in these remixes either.

Erika de Casier - Still + General Discussion

I was listening to the album on Sunday thinking we need remixes. Fantastic!

    Banoffee

The album was supposed to be out last week? Anyone know what’s happening with it?

    James Blake - Before

I honestly start binge listening to his catalogue whenever he releases something new. He always does this to me. He’s definitely becoming my favourite male artist as the years go by. I probably won’t listen to anyone else for a few weeks now. If I’m Insecure is heavenly. I can’t get over...

    James Blake - Before

I’ve listened twice, I liked the singles and the last track is beautiful. I was so disappointed with Assume Form at first but it grew on me massively. I’m sure this will do the same. I always struggle enjoying his features though. They are always a major distraction for me.

Erika de Casier - Still + General Discussion

Such a perfect album for the long dark rainy nights drawing in. Insult Me, Secretly and Call Me Anytime are my current obsessions. The album is a revelation and I adore it.

Lana Del Rey - Chemtrails Over The Country Club

I fully stanned Chemtrails (apart from Breaking Up Slowly). It’s a journey of an album and a glowing follow up to NFR! In fact it’s had a lot longer life span for me than anything that came before it.

Tori Amos - Ocean to Ocean

Interesting it was written during the 3rd lockdown when there were rumours she had an album more or less ready much earlier than that. Maybe the pandemic and end of Trump means she scrapped that. I always enjoy her new stuff temporarily but it ages so badly for me. I only saw the video for...

    Art School Girlfriend

Just had a couple of runs through the album. I love how moody and meandering it is. Reminds me of Tracey Thorn. I’ll play a lot throughout autumn.

    Priya Ragu - Santhosam

Some old stuff here but it’s so so good to have a fleshed out project. That bonus track, it’s perfect!

    James Blake - Before

I love him but I’m a bit fatigued as I really enjoyed his 2 EPs and singles last year. Don’t feel ready. I’m sure I’ll overplay the album once it’s out.
