I know I'm a bit late to the party, but I just want to thank our wonderful hosts for running such a great rate. This rate was huge and ambitious, but y'all pulled it off with aplomb. I have nothing but respect for you all! Now... any chance we'll get another BPG classique?

A Lorde album for the summer just feels right.

Not "Karna" being genuinely better than a few of this rate's actual contenders.

"Birds of a Feather" was the instant stand out to me from the very first listen. I remember wishing it was the single instead of "Lunch," and, what can I say, the GP got it right this time.

I'll be honest, I was a bit surprised to see how universally loved "Bodyguard" was here. However, perhaps the approaching warmer weather will help it click more for me this spring/summer. Anyways, "Good Luck Babe" is out of its league at this point and will hopefully leave next.

"360" might be my least favourite track from the standard edition of Brat. It's still a good track, I've caught myself quoting or humming along to the melody plenty of times over the past year, but I'm surprised that this was the track (before "Apple" and "Guess") that finally seemed to click...

I'm aware how rates work, thanks. Again, I just find it wild that some people will take something as lifeless, cynical and uninspired as "I'm His, He's Mine" over something as genuinely thrilling, lively, and ambitious as "YA YA." To each their own, I guess.

Thinking anything Katy Perry and Dr. Luke did together this year is better than YA YA is wild.

Espresso has more charm and personality than 95% of Selena's discography. I guess some of you didn't sing Espresso at karaoke during NYE at a cottage with your friends while on shrooms, and I feel SAD for y'all. Solidified Espresso as a 10 for me.

I can already see the ducks, but I'm going to listen to Ariana and say this shit with my chest: I think "yes and?" is a good song in and of itself, but Ariana's delivery and the production drag it down. Obviously, Ariana is a stellar vocalist, but the light airy approach she goes with here...

I'm sure if it's been mentioned already, because iaintreadingallthat.jpeg, but "Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl" feels so Born This Way coded, especially during the middle-8. Keep putting off that sophomore album and throw Gaga on the remix Chappell.
