It will be readily available in shops online tmrw or Monday im sure. Surprised we have heard little about a 3rd single. I thought they might have released one to radio around the time of the UK tour.

Now That's What I Call Music (Nostalgia)

Oh I assumed Queen demanded it for streaming purposes. So, their song would always be guaranteed a play as the first track on the comp when streamed to increase their ridiculous numbers.

Expensive but lovely. They needed a GH out there on vinyl at an affordable price. Smash is understandably a bit pricey for the casual fan.

    The Reissue Thread!

The title track for Big Thing always feels a bit limp and should be a bit more powerful and they def should have had the Shep mix of I Dont Want Your Love on there. Fix those 2 things and the album would be almost perfect. IDWYL, All She Wants Is, Notorious and Skin Trade are all classic latter...

    The Reissue Thread!

Yep. I wonder if they even get asked now. I know they did in the 90s when 80s music was seen as a dirty word and they didn't want to be seen as an 80s act so said no. surely, they can't care about any of that nonsense now.

Personal Jesus by DM, Lullaby by the Cure maybe?

    The Beautiful South

Yeah it does feel like as soon as Jacqui joined, Paul just forgot about Dave as a potential singer to his songs. You wonder if it caused any bitterness but I guess it was probably seen as Paul's band. As you say, its a shame as he sounds great on 36D, Song for Whoever and Bell Bottom Tear, etc.

Its a shame but i understand. I guess Close is half full of slow to mid tempo tracks so may feel the need to get the balance right in a live setting and please the casuals so they dont lose interest.

    Kim Wilde

I wonder if they have assumed the UK audience (the casual fan of the hits only) would get bored of too many unknown album tracks from an old album so have cut back a bit.

They've dropped Europen Soul and You'll be the one who'll lose, looking at the recent setlists. The latter i was really looking fwd to hearing.

    Top of the Pops BBC4

I'm not sure the singles chart (if you can call it that) is any better these days really. At least people were actually going out to pay for the songs they wanted back then. The charts are still manipulated today by paying your way on to certain massive streaming playlists to ensure a chart...

Some Kind of Bliss was absolutely hammered on radio 1. Thought it was going to be huge, then saw it was being sold for £3.99 everywhere, in an era of 99p and £1.99 cd singles so knew it would struggle. Really believe if it wasn't for the pricing, it would've easily gone top 10.

    Top of the Pops BBC4

Indeed although radio 1 stuck to their guns and didn't playlist any of their singles from Nightlife which hurt them. The gigs at the time in the UK didn't sell well and it was the moment Neil mentioned to Chris about packing it in. It was only really Madonna and U2 from the 80s that radio 1...

    Top of the Pops BBC4

The 80s were deemed as ancient on 1 Jan 1990. 80s artists were flopping from the start of the decade. It was only 1993 for Duran and 1995 for Human League that radio thought they were okay again, briefly. Then in 97 radio one refused to play any artist not seen as current. This lead to all these...

    Eurythmics & Annie Lennox

Thanks. A short and sweet setlist but pretty flawless. Must have been special. Always hoped to see Eurythmics live but can't see it happening again now.

    Eurythmics & Annie Lennox

What was the setlist last night? Did she sing much Eurythmics or just 3-4 of the big tunes like Here Comes the Rain and Sweet Dreams.

    Thrift Shop finds

Notting Hill Music Exchange, Berwick St and Camden used to be amazing in the 90s and early noughties for CDs and vinyl, promos, rarities, etc. Last time I went (probs about 10 years ago) they all felt like a shadow of their former self, with just bare scraps left.

    Bananarama

It was probably still the era where artists had to re-record their single for TOTP performances in a day. I think that ended by mid to late 1983. I think a lot of bands use to re-record them and then try and slip someone the correct original recording for broadcast purposes. Remember it being...

    Nik Kershaw

I love early 80s videos. They are so bonkers sometimes and make no sense. Can anyone confirm how good the quality is of the DVD with the boxset? The Then and Now DVD from about 20 years ago was awful. Sound and picture was poor, so just wondered if the videos have been remastered in picture or...

Im really looking forward to hearing You'll be the one who'll lose live. Hoping a new single will be pushed soon to tie in with the tour. Love is Love hopefully, or Scorpio or Rocket.
