Me too, I think this was #12. This was close to her Koko and La Cigale gigs back in 18. Powerhouse. Lighthouse and Trail of Destruction were unexpected highlights. She should consider forgetting all about Four Letter Word though, its a good song but disastrous live.

Just came from her gig in Gothenburg. She f*cking killed it, she continues to impress me. Her live vocals were even better this time around. The new tracks went OFF. And hearing Close in its entirety live was even more special than I had thought. What a night.

I am absolutely mesmerized by the album. Savasana is a thing of beauty. Select, Teases and Dares, Another Step, Close, Love Is (!!!), Here Come the Aliens are all top notch albums. I enjoy all of her albums though, but Come out and Play is a bit of a struggle (thanks heavens for Real Life).

I’ve had a few listens and I’m mighty impressed. It’s an experience.

is it just me or is her (and Bebes) vocals much less filtered on the extended version of My oh My? I can actually listen to this version without pain.

This is such a victory lap, the whole album (I’ll just pretend it stops playing after Edge) just reeks surplus of energy. Most of the lyrics are insipid though, so I’m very happy to hear her hinting about more depth next time. Until then I’ll be enjoying another Kylie Minogue album.

I’m a little surprised by the styling complaints, I’ve been thinking she looks great and slightly edgier than usual.

I agree that a lot of his output is dull but Stud and (especially) In a Dream are fantastic to my ears.

Same impression in scandinavian countries. It’s not just a gay echo chamber thing. Norwegian charts are top 40 only, and she’s not in it. She is bubbling though, so somewhere between 40 and 65. Radio wont play her though, a mix of ageism and heavy support for domestic artists I suppose.

Excellent news. Also, we (as in Norway) are her fourth entry on the Spotify top 200 - after UK, Ireland and Australia. Dare we hope for a chart entrance on sunday?

It’s a great demo by a great (resembling) vocalist, by a great producer. It has the lyrics «take off all my clothes» twice in the chorus so adjustments were made.
