JADE - "Plastic Box" + THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY! (Sep 12)

Kesha had followed Jade and commented on the photo saying "are you boy crazy too? We should go out..." to which Jade replied "Let's party!" which definitely fuelled the rumours.

    Miley Cyrus - Something Beautiful

Forever bitter we’ve never had a live performance of Permanent December. The only song on the album that’s never had a live outing.

    Sabrina Carpenter

I was convinced we'd get Sue Me and Paris on the Short'n'Sweet Tour, but alas. I wonder if she'll ever bring them back now. She seems to look at Emails as the start of her career proper now.

JADE - "Plastic Box" + THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY! (Sep 12)

The crowd really varied from literal children to folk in their 60s, so for that kind of event I guess you have to have a broad line up. It was one of the better lineups of recent years for me.

Leigh-Anne - No Hard Feelings (EP)

I think Angel of my Dreams being a legitimate hit did do a lot to carry that momentum from the label’s standpoint. Don’t Say Love and My Love’s sales are really poor, which wouldn’t have helped to push things towards a whole album. Her music is fantastic though, so I’m really hoping her...

JADE - "Plastic Box" + THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY! (Sep 12)

I was there up in the middle tier. She was brilliant, however she got the worst slot of the day - from a crowd standpoint. There was a 20-25 minute power cut right before her set so the atmosphere totally died. So, she had a real uphill battle unfortunately. But she killed it! Regarding the...

JADE - "Plastic Box" + THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY! (Sep 12)

This makes her short set even more disappointing. Weirdly, there were a few acts who I felt were weirdly very short compared to previous years. Still had an amazing time with a lot of highs, but definitely some low and questionable moments.

JADE - "Plastic Box" + THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY! (Sep 12)

Not too sure. It was what everyone around us was theorising because it just seemed criminally short. The power cut lasted about 20-25 minutes. They let bloody Kem come back out and finish his DJ set too! I think had the power cut not happened and been so long, the crowd may have been...

JADE - "Plastic Box" + THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY! (Sep 12)

For real, I was so excited for her before she came on and like I said, she killed it. She was brilliant. But the atmosphere in the stadium was mute after the 20 minute power outage. Then, when she did half the Little Mix medley to announce Angel of my Dreams - gutting! I really wish she was on...

Mariah Carey - “Type Dangerous” + 16th Album

I can’t believe I just seen her live. She was everything and more. I know there’s been talk of her not being necessarily on her game of late, but I genuinely thought she was fantastic tonight. And I was buzzing I got Touch My Body! My only gripe was the the stadium practically emptied halfway...

JADE - "Plastic Box" + THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY! (Sep 12)

Just back from the ball, she is a queen! Was gutted her set got cut though! There was a 20 minute power cut at the stadium before she came on. Was raging! But she absolutely killed it!

    Girls Aloud - Future Plans

I’ll always vouch for Apple Music over Spotify. It just feels so much more smooth for me. I found Spotify really clunky.

    Miley Cyrus - Something Beautiful

At the airport waiting to board and Angels Like You is blasting through the speakers. Feels right. What a song!

Mariah Carey - “Type Dangerous” + 16th Album

I’m going and I would loveeee it if she does Touch My Body, because it’ll be my first time seeing her live so I’m hoping it makes it. Excited to see Type Dangerous too!

    Hilary Duff

My Kind is the biggest hit that got away for me. The whole album was such a triumph. I remember being so nervous about her first release in years and she came back swinging! She very rarely missed for me across her music career, so I’m buzzing to see what she does bring out next.

Sabrina Carpenter - "Manchild" + Man’s Best Friend (Aug 29)

There is an interesting dynamic at play, not just throughout this forum but across the socials today regarding this cover. It seems to have presented a very ethical dilemma. Is this her own choice? If so, then should it not be okay? Are we infringing on a woman's right to sexualise herself how...

Sabrina Carpenter - "Manchild" + Man’s Best Friend (Aug 29)

Sorry, I realise my wording may have seemed like I meant people on the forum were slut shaming. I totally get that the cover might not be to everyone's liking, for a variety of reasons. The slut-shaming was more referring to the social media comments and TikTok's that I have been seeing...

Sabrina Carpenter - "Manchild" + Man’s Best Friend (Aug 29)

I don’t how I feel about the cover, which I guess is part of the point of it? Like a few have said, it gets people talking. A part of me feels a bit sad that society has regressed so much over the past few years that a women could still be slut shamed in such a way. Because effectively, that is...
