Alexandra Burke - Heartbreak On Hold

I don't know where you got your information from, but Let It Go was never pushed back to generate more sales. As soon as it hit radio format, it was immediately announced to be released on May 27 and that was it.

Alexandra Burke - Heartbreak On Hold

Re: Alexandra Burke - Heartbreak On Hold (June 5) Here's my track-by-track rating of the album: 1. Heartbreak On Hold: Great way to start the album. That is all - 7/10 2. Elephant: With the exception of autotune, this song is actually really good. I can see why it was chosen as the lead...

Alexandra Burke - Heartbreak On Hold

Re: Alexandra Burke - Heartbreak On Hold (June 5) Personally, I love how she sang What Money Can't Buy. Her ability to belt out those high notes shows how much she's improved vocally. For the record, Mariah once said in an interview after the Music Box Tour that she tends to make songs...

Alexandra Burke - Heartbreak On Hold

Which is interesting since Elephant performed much better on the charts.

Alexandra Burke - Heartbreak On Hold

Let's face it: radio, retail, and record executives decide who's successful in the UK and the British public just follows like mindless sheep. I foresaw this way back when she was randomly asked to be a guest judge on X Factor. People have went out of the way to make sure Alexandra never...

    Cheryl - A Million Lights

Sorry, but in order for that to be true, she would have to be able to sing well, which we all know she can't do worth shit. Having said that, she gave a very energetic performance and she was very good to look at, so I enjoyed it very much. Good job, Cheryl!

Alexandra Burke - Heartbreak On Hold

Re: Alexandra Burke - Heartbreak On Hold (June 5) I will reserve judgement on the direction of this album until I actually hear it. I will say, however, that Alexandra is the "executive producer" of this album, which means that if it's crap or has no balance, it's because she allowed it be. In...

Alexandra Burke - Heartbreak On Hold

Re: Alexandra Burke - Heartbreak On Hold (June 5) I'm not too crazy about the album cover, but it does command attention. Maybe it will grow on me in time. The tracklist looks promising. I seriously hope theres some strong 90's-style ballads on there.

    Cheryl - A Million Lights

Re: Cheryl Cole - Call My Name (1st single) For me, this video just reaffirms how overrated she is. Not a good vocalist, and her dance moves are quite stiff. She's smokin hot though.

Alexandra Burke - Heartbreak On Hold

Let's be honest, nothing concerning the way Alex has been handled in the last 6 months makes any sense. If it's all down to incompetance (a very familiar word used for Syco at one point), then we have a major problem, because I can't imagine any of us making the same stupid mistakes over and...

Alexandra Burke - Heartbreak On Hold

My goodness, her voice is magnificant! It just cracks me up how her live performances always sound better than the studio recording. It's a shame that true talent like Alexandra is blacklisted while talentless, good-for-nothing, acts who can barely hold a note can release a generic song, add...

    Cheryl - A Million Lights

Re: Cheryl Cole - Call My Name (1st single) I agree. Someone needs to call Adele. Better yet, I think she should be called everytime Cheryl attempts to sing...

Alexandra Burke - Heartbreak On Hold

I don't get it. Two years ago, Radio 1 didn't want to play Alexandra's music, while Capital had no problem supporting her. Now, it's almost the exact opposite. I'm so confused...

Alexandra Burke - Heartbreak On Hold

Okay, I've been repeatingly listening to Let It Go nonstop for over 2 hours! It's almost 4:30am my time, and I'm blasting this song and going crazy like a mad man! Earlier in this thread, I said that Alexandra's second single for this era has to be better than anything she's done since...

Alexandra Burke - Heartbreak On Hold

Just heard the premier for Let It Go...and I want to hear it again, and again, and again! I'm not sure because it happened all too fast, but I believe she hits a C6! Beast.com!

The Wanted - Word of Mouth

Brilliant track. I don't like Example, but credit where credit is due. He makes good music. The Wanted definitely has another smash with this song. It will be blazing the charts all summer long.

    Leona Lewis

I don't know about that just yet. She may really have a cracking successful third album. I just hope it's all worth the wait.

Alexandra Burke - Heartbreak On Hold

Well it did work for Emeli Sandé, but I agree that Alex shouldn't wait too long to release the album. Now, if the third single is extremely groundbreaking, then I wouldn't mind too much if it launced the album. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I just hope RCA knows what they're doing.
