Billie didn't need to have 2/3 of her albums win AOTY even though it's better than the one she won for. This just felt right. Yes, any of the other Beyoncé albums bar maybe Sasha Fierce would have also felt right. But Beyoncé has experimented in genres so much that it's fitting her most explicit exploration of that wins.

Yeah a little surprised at the people feeling bad for Billie. She's 23 and she has 2 Oscars and 9 Grammys. She will be fine.

I think they could’ve split the Record and Song categories between Billie and Chappell, respectively, but Album was really anyone’s to take. Chappell not winning anything besides Best New Artist feels like it’ll be the most egregious snub to look back on in 10 years time

There’s no one I’m happier for than Beyoncé, everything feels right in the world now. Also pleased for Chappell, Sabrina and Doechii, wish Charli could’ve nabbed another award but she should be so proud too.

The win for Charli was being recognized after more than a decade of being overlooked. Sorry but I can't imagine being upset over her losing AOTY when she's walking away a 3x Grammy winner after last night when she wasn't even in the conversation before.

Also, she lost to Beyoncé. Save your ire for when she loses to Harry Styles!

There were many deserving artists in that category last night (and Jacob Collier!) But to act like Beyonce didn’t deserve it is honestly embarrassing ddd. Personal taste aside, the quality of music in Cowboy Carter is no lesser than the quality of music on any of her other albums and the "This is worse than Renaissance/Lemonade/Beyonce" opinion is absolutely genre/personal preference related and not at all about the actual quality of the music on Cowboy Carter. Charli will be just fine. She's been fighting to be recognized beyond her loud and vocal f word fanbase and last night was a huge win for her. 3 wins and a great performance for an album that catapulted her success and stardom. Billie will be just fine. At 23 she is only the second person in history to win the Big 4 awards in a single night and she did it with her first album, so I struggle to feel badly for her and I feel like she would say the same ddd. Chappell got the amazing recognition she deserved for her standout year. Sabrina won where it counted.

And in case there was any doubt, I am not happy that Beyonce won because it was overdue (it was) or that I really wanted other albums of hers to win (I did), I am happy that Beyonce won because Cowboy Carter was the best album of 2024. (And Deeper Well.)

Man, it sounds like I'm a country girlie and I'm really not ddd.

Beyonce winning AOTY is such a pussy move by the Grammy voting bloc. She's had way better albums before!! Billie Eilish should have won
