Hello Future legitimately deserves to be Top 5 for following this formula of noise production mixed with the 90s Swedish-style singalong boy band melodies that taste like candy.

What in the Korea Tourism Organization...? GHOST9 successfully nabs a spot in our rate again for its second edition, this time managing to end up a few positions higher! Sorry to these men, but the verses are just too annoying for me to forgive, even though I find the chorus of the song to be quite great, and extremely polished. @Slice of Life (8,5) disagrees somewhat: “Great chorus trumps everything”. Surprisingly, my bestie @eatyourself (9) stans: “I can't explain it with logic or reason but I really like this ddd. I guess there is an early 2000's EDM element to it that just gets to me.”

Props to this for actually... being about something, though. So many of these type of songs just feel like vague swagger-y bullshit, so I appreciate the specificity. And from the two songs I've listened to, it seems like they really have a signature (wall of) sound! And where do they find the budget for these gorgeous music videos? Is this actually sponsored by the city or something cause the math is not mathing! @boombazookajoe (3) is struggling: "I can't find one damn thing to like about you right now in the moment." - Eileen Davidson”

Yes agreed, but you could always have the rappers you know try to sing just one line, and that's all they get, or only just join in the chorus.

ffff Bye I thought this would be easy PJ bait? It's dancey! It's synthy! There's a catchy chorus and not a whiff of rap! Maybe y'all got tired of the retro trend?

Woosung even managed to get two different people to submit his songs, something only a couple other acts here managed to do (ENHYPEN and DRIPPIN). But alas, it seems like he is not very welcome here, as this is second and last song to leave, in the Bottom 15. Honestly, this is a very decent song, but once again y'all had a problem with who was singing it, and how.

@boombazookajoe comments on that, but still gives this a good score of (8,5): “The vocals are slightly less offensive than Woosung's other Rate offering, but it's truly a shame because, by a more competent vocalist, this song would be a 10 no questions asked.” @Attis (3) drags: “His voice is a male version of Bananis Avocadis Halsey vocals, but even worse. The "quirky" inflections in the verses, I'm sorry I have to laugh. The bridge is pretty tho.” Yes, I looove the bridge, it's a proper moment!

Lowest scorer @Slice of Life (2) can't stand any more “Why does he do that thing (you know that thing) while singing???? Like just sing it in a normal way?????? I’m annoyed” and @askew (3,75) joins ha: “I do not enjoy that vocal quirk of his.” Let's end this with a positive note from @eatyourself (9), who stans: “I feel like this type of sound has been used to death but it is so well executed here.”
