Wonho is quite celebrated on this forum and his thread as a solo male artist receives consistent engagement, numbering more pages than most acts on here. You thinking this did worse than it should have because of some imagined vendetta against him is actually wild. The insinuation that people are deliberately tanking him, because...? Because he has a hot body? The perception that other people find him hot? I don't even know how to respond. Like I am thoroughly discombobulated. I am at a loss.

I don’t think it’s wild that some people feel some type of way about him because they don’t like his songs and thus think people that do only do because of his body. And then they think a “oh people are gonna undeservedly give this good scores, it would be like a 6 for me but let me make it a 1 just to be sure” type of thing. Lemme also say that, yeah, he's not a gifted singer but I actually love how monotonous he sounds on Lose. It pairs so well with the production.

Like is it or is it not true that his brand of entertainment is tied to his physique? I think he would say yes, and that's not a value judgment on his person or his talents. Maybe sometimes it is just as simple as putting on headphones and not jiving with the vocals.

I’m not accusing anyone of anything, just saying it’s not something unheard of or absurd to consider. We are all guilty of being strategic with scores sometimes, so this isn’t some great serious accusation or anything. I myself gave 10s to boy songs in KSOTY that I didn’t here, just because they were at a disadvantage there, etc.

I think it absolutely is as simple as sometimes people not jiving with a song, but I think the point some are trying to make it is, if you (or others) find the idea outlandish that some are purposely scoring his songs lower because of a perceived or undeserved bias towards him, is it not similarly outlandish for someone to accuse anyone who high scores his songs to only like them because of his body when it could just be because they genuinely like the song?

But at the end of the day, we all like to throw around wild declaratives and blanket statements to add to the dramatics and keep things interesting. I would hope no one is really taking any of this … that deep (I could think of a couple of things I would like to take deep.) Imagine if every elimination was followed with 3 posts that said “Cool.” “Good elimination.” And “Could have done better but I respect each voter’s decision.” Ddd

I feel that I should clarify that my initial comment wasn't that Wonho solely gets high points because of his body, but that it does contribute to people's overall enjoyment of his material and craft (saying otherwise would be a disservice) and probably accounts for higher points than if the song was from a nugu nobody without his visuals. I thought it was a little silly to suggest that that facet of him translates to lower points. That is slightly different than fabricating a bogeyman that thinks Wonho is a "talentless himbo" and is the reason why his song has left. Am I splitting hairs and being ridiculous in prosecuting that case? Probably!

If y'all want me to be honest, I just don't like his music or his voice and I think we have much better soloists around that aren't given as much interest or attention here because the marketing he does certainly lies within the interests of some of you. And listen, I don't judge you! I certainly wouldn't go as hard for WJSN the Black's Easy if it wasn't catered to me. But it's how it comes across to me as someone who's not even remotely into him, so yeah.
