Our oomfs take another hit as we lose their KPJ #1 hit (including girls!), Goosebumps.

I'm sorry but this is their best song? I think I prefer ONF doing dark-ish stuff, despite them being such excellent sunshine boys. Maybe I'm being influenced by the visuals, but to me Goosebumps is the culmination of that cartoon / anime / video-game aesthetic that permeated their 2021 material, kinda like throwing all of it in a blender... that synth lop in the background feels menacing but also playful, like it's taking you inside an arcade machine or something. @drod93 (10) says: “Noise but make it funky” while @Attis (10) had a change of heart: “Finally got this ff sorry for the score in Ksoty @Wills”

@boombazookajoe (10) once again saves me from a too-short elimination post, since he submitted commentary for every track: “ONF had their biggest years yet, and while their popularity skyrocketed on PJ, I was kind of off to the side casually bopping and enjoying, but not fully stanning any of their releases. That all changed with Goosebumps, their best comeback to date IMO, and one of the best songs of the year. A fucking RUCKUS and a RIOT. I love that every chorus is a variation on a familiar theme and it just gets more chaotic the longer it goes on. Truly a moment. Consider my stan card laminated.”​

I agree, love the unusual song structure here. The way it basically has three different choruses, and that downright stupid, but incredibly fun, bridge serves as a climax, anchoring everything to a solid a real sense of progression. It's a daring approach that I'm not sure would work in the hands of a less energetic and charismatic group. The music video also makes visual references to other ONF releases, which was fitting for their last comeback before enlisting! I honestly can't wait for them to come back.
