A new article and interview with Amit from Icelandic media. I had no idea he was living in Iceland, approx 10 minutes away from where I live.

Dhani is live on instagram and he has confirmed they are planning to do live shows around the world, no concrete plans for new music, just celebrating the anniversary for now.

Every second comment on insta or the lives is about vinyls so they are fully aware, they just seem to not acknowledge it. So I’m hoping they are working on it and just not saying anything. Universal Sweden seems to be fully behind them so fingers crossed.

On Saturday night I was at Blondie in Santiago and there was an A*Teens spectacle. At around 01:00 the music in the main room abruptly stopped, the lights in the room faded to black. Then, boom, everything came back on and their Voulez Vous performance in Malmö 1999 was blasting. What followed was 30 mins of their catalogue.
The locals were loving it...as was I.

They have got a manager and plans are in being put in place for shows worldwide. It’s a lot of logistics but they really want it to happen.
New music is unlikely - there are no plans but never say never.
Vinyl releases - he doesn’t know. They’re aware we want them but no definitive answer yet

Favourite A*Teens song is Sugar Rush
He also played piano and sang Sugar Rush, I Promised Myself & Upside Down

I'm not a singer but I never understand with the way things are now with recording etc
why so many groups can't do this? Seems like not only easier than ever but also like some more coin for the artists (yes I know music doesn't make a TON but when you have a small dedicated thirsty stan base they will pay over stream)
