I'm totally joking about the hiding thing! But I did mean to apologize if the spread of my scores caused them to make more of a difference than one person probably deserves to. Seems a bit unfair in retrospect!

Anyway, let's get back to stanning for 'Are You That Somebody' because it is flawless. (Except for the baby in the background which made me decide at the last minute to dock it a full point, but I digress.)

I haaaaated the baby noise back when the song came out, but it slowly grew on me over time and now I can't imagine the song without that gurgling.

I'm pleased with how this turned out. The top 2 are pretty much interchangeable for me, since they're both classics that bent and subverted the trends. That, to me, was her biggest strength. She was an alt-R&B diva before anyone had a word for it.
