I don’t want to spoil it in case anyone hasn‘t tuned in yet, but Ava meeting Zack’s new boyfriend was EVERYTHING I wanted it to be.
Loved seeing Matteo in the role!
I did not see the ending of last nights episode coming. I was shocked and sad immediately. I’m excited to see where the rest of the season goes with this storyline.

They had better be bringing her ass back as a sales rep, disgruntled adoptive parent, or even better, she somehow gets Crystal’s job. I’m going to call it now. Gregory applies for Ava’s position, becomes the principal, and Barb becomes the full-time music teacher which would open up two teaching positions. I really hope there’s an uproar from the parents that puts the fear in the district and they reinstate her with back pay and a spa where Dia’s desk used to be before she was moved to the hallway with the tablet.

Regarding last week's episode, the second I saw that it was called "Karaoke", I knew it was going to be one of their best. The jump scare of Jacob's song selection and Melissa's cup flying out of her hand had me on the floor.
As for this week, that twist felt big enough for a season finale, so I'm really surprised that it wasn't saved for that!

I actually thought they might be setting up Barb to take the fall since her storyline for most of the episode was about how tired she was, and so taking the fall would mean having a break, but I'm glad they didn't go that route because I feel like that's the kind of thing that would require seeds being planted throughout the season.
