Ace of Base

I have to admit that two of these have really grown on me and I had in high rotation for the whole summer. I can't recall the names at the moment, but they were certainly the more adventurous sounding remixes (rather than the formulaic 2023 dance mix ones). There's so much space for these songs to be given something novel and interesting, but I suppose that would require so much effort on sourcing producers/DJs who "understand the assignment".

I'm sure we're going to be revisiting these tracks for many more anniversaries, so perhaps there's MUCH more to come.

I hope so! At the height of their popularity they're one of the few pop acts that always delivered with their alternative takes, B-Sides and Remixes.

The way singles like Lucky Love, Never Gonna Say I’m Sorry, Living Danger (just to name a few) have these transformative remixes...wig! Lenny Bertoldo was one of their best collaborators.

They posted on Facebook that there is a new beautiful life remix being released on 13th October - the clip doesn’t sound very good.

Totally agree :-( - I wish Ulf or Jonas would do some more versions of their songs, and maybe pick some lesser known tracks.

Or more fan mixes. I love the "Dancer In A Daydream (Mike Ross & Jonas Berggren RoboDisco Dub)" which is amazing. Wonder if that would have done anything on the charts if it was sent to radio?

Also loving the "Waiting For Magic (Singlewave's Awakening Mix)" as well as many mixes on the lastest "The singles" boxset.

There are a few songs from the box set that aren’t on streaming. I wish they would put those online now.

Just listened to the new beautiful life remix and yea it’s even worse than I expected. I wonder what the purpose of these remixes are? Wouldn’t it be better to just remix something that sounds like it could maybe get played on radio instead of something that has only 1 or 2 lines over a song with a continuous beat.

I think it's mainly to help drive streams of their catalogue up. And some of the new remixes do surprisingly well.

I listened to the Dolby atmos mix of “All that she wants”,was very interesting to hear the small differences that were made. Hope they make a few more.
I was listening on Amazon Music and it says that it’s in SD even though the title indicates that it’s supposed to be Dolby Atmos. They have a lot of Dolby Atmos albums on there and when you play them the songs are labeled as such. Not the case with ATSW.

Someone said that there’s no inner sleeve.

I noticed on Apple Music that to play the Dolby Atmos mix of All that she wants it’s listed on a 1 track single. When you play the albums it just plays the old version.

I definitely looks like something German teen magazine Bravo would have done in the 90s. They had the tackiest photoshoots with celebrities.

Correct! Peep the greek magazine covering the original typography. And half of Blonde Bass to avoid covering the Bravo logo.
