Jenny says that Linn would participate in a way that she could. She’s not in it but they’re using unreleased footage of her. That documentary series is really happening! Coming to the Nordic streamer Viaplay in 2024. Looks like they will be selling the international rights to other streamers, but Viaplay is available in the UK anyway at least.
Will we finally get some honest answers about Linn, I wonder.

I doubt they will go into much detail about Linn, especially if she is not involved with making the documentary.
I’d take it if they got her silhouetted and her voice changed or if she was played by an actress using her words. It would be a bit odd to do a 3 part documentary about their career and gloss over the biggest story. I'm sure there's a way they can talk about it whilst still respecting Linn's privacy. They can't just say "she lost her voice and was scared of flying".
Imagine how good it would have been though if they could say "Linn finally tells her story in her first interview for 25 years".
Get former Ace Of Base singer Clara Mae to act as Linn! Oh the drama! Hahahaha. Can you imagine?I’d take it if they got her silhouetted and her voice changed or if she was played by an actress using her words.
It would be amazing, but I can't see it being much in it for her (except a paycheck). She's probably living a comfortable life in total anonymity and wants to keep it that way. I found it interesting when Jenny said a few years back that Linn looks very different now, so people probably wouldn't recognize her either.Imagine how good it would have been though if they could say "Linn finally tells her story in her first interview for 25 years".
Yeah these are all reasons but I think there's even more to it than that. Jonas and Ulf have hinted little things over the years. It would be great to hear her story but I just hope she's happy anyway.I’ve always thought Linn’s choice to withdraw from the spotlight was fairly clear.
The fan breaking into their home shook her up a lot and then the pressure from record labels to continue to be the lead vocalist and also record what they were dictating to her was the final push, and she’d had enough.
I seem to recall as well that she was very upset about not being allowed to include Lapponia on Flowers.
You really can’t blame her for going “nah, screw this” after the way she was treated, particularly by their American record label.

So will there be actual new interviews with Jonas, Jenny and Ulf?
Also in 2005 wasn’t Linn still recording stuff with Ace of Base but then nothing ever after that? I wonder what happened during that time?

Had this conversation elsewhere recently, and we think Linn sings "it's a cruel, cruel summer". The way she says "summer" is a giveaway. Might be blended in with Jenny.I’ve been creating an AoB “greatest hits” playlist for a friend and have just been listening back. Partly inspired by existing compilations but a bit more complete.
Listening back through it, does Linn actually sing a note on Always Have, Always Will or Cruel Summer? Particularly the Big Bonus Mix? Pretty sure that’s all Jenny. She may be there but I can’t hear her at all. But I know her contributions were often more subtle during that era.
Playlist if anyone is interested. Works pretty well and includes all the hits:
1. The Sign
2. All That She Wants
3. Beautiful Life
4. Hallo Hallo
5. Always Have, Always Will
6. Love In December
7. Living In Danger
8. Everytime It Rains (radio edit)
9. Don’t Turn Around
10. Cruel Summer (Big Bonus Mix)
11. Happy Nation (radio edit)
12. Unspeakable
13. Lucky Love
14. Travel to Romantis
15. Never Gonna Say I’m Sorry
16. Beautiful Morning
17. Waiting for Magic (total remix)
18. Life is a Flower
19. Da Capo
20. Wheel of Fortune (7” mix)

And I think Linn might be doing the "even though it didn't show" line in AHAW? It's not always easy to tell them apart though is it.
