The way she’s been able to pivot from being a tik tok dancer girl to honestly one of the most locked in and interesting up and coming pop girlies.

I love that she’s a student of pop music, she knows her references and pays homage to the mothers before her. None of it comes across as engineered or forced, I’ve said it before that she just GETS IT!

AR remains a banger of an EP and Diet Pepsi is easily one of the songs of the year for me. I can’t wait to see what she does next.

I was showing my friend pics of her VMAs look and being really annoying I said it’s basically her Björk swan dress. Which, obviously, it’s not, but…

It’s such a star-maker look. Like, seared into my brain, instant iconography. Perplexing but irresistible. The commitment to an outré, memorable look felt so refreshing, especially when put alongside other breakout stars doing worse versions of Madonna and Britney looks from 20-30 years ago. Dara is the stylist du jour.
