  1. Dear God I'm old.
  2. Well it’s more singles than albums, but if anyone wants a reminisce of 20 years ago!!

  3. Same!

Those 3-6 month delayed releases for non-US acts were so frustrating, if they got a release at all. We had one or two indie record stores with import sections, but I was constantly checking online since I didn’t have a local Virgin or Tower Records.

  4. Import CDs were also so expensive too, but there was something slightly satisfying about buying one.

  12. The way I saw all these classic albums and thought “wow, we were actually pretty well fed in 2002” only to see y’all absolutely drag the year on the first page. O=O
  13. I have to echo the love for Brandy's Full Moon. Beautiful album to this day.

This was 8th-grader-me's favorite album of all time, a position it still has for 34-year-old me.
  14. 3Xs

Pretty legendary year for the jpop girlies.

Ayu at the peak of her powers

Utada really coming into their own

  15. Not as many '20 year celebrations' for some of these albums as I'd hoped, sadly.
