It's actually Sabrina who is doing Scissorhands. Su-Elise is a reserve for this years I'm A Celeb.
Now THAT'S contrast.

Spent the day with Alesha yesterday/this morning. I thought her B'ham performance was brilll but her G-A-Y performance was THE SH*T. The crowd were hyped and despite her being extremely tired and ill (and almost throwing up on stage, she told me) she really pulled it off. I want a repeat damnit.

She is REALLY happy. She was so excited about today coming round to see where she was. I think she's even more excited about the prospect of it getting higher when the physical release is out tomorrow.

I adore "Don't Ever Let Me Go" -- but I think if she goes for a ballad (and by "she" I mean the record label) the video actually has to be effing amazing. "Boy" was so fantastic and even with a mediocre video, it's becoming a well-deserved hit. But the ballad won't be so lucky.

And me! Amazing song. I'm not sure about the 2nd verse, but I think that's just because I'm so used to the clip of the first verse and chorus. Breathe Slow is a cool song and I can see why they're going with it for the 2nd single. After that they need something like Let's Get Excited or something equaling The Boy Does Nothing.

Anyway, I'm off into town to grab a couple of copies of the single and make sure HMV is arranged to show off Alesha's armpits to their fullest!

Played 'Breathe Slow' a fair few times and it so works as a single. Love 'Don't Ever Let Me Go' as much as I always have, but I can see me getting sick of it soon. 'Chasing Ghosts' has REALLY grown on me. I think it's even got a bit of single potential. I can imagine a wicked Supremes style video, would be ace. 'Do You Know The Way It Feels' is a bit of a bore fest for me, Alesha's voice is good, but it just doesn't suit this kind of track, I dunno, it might grow on us, but so far my rank is...

The top 2 are really, really close though and the 2 after that are equally as close. And then last and definitely by all means least 'Do You Know The Way It Feels'.

I could imagine Do You Know The Way It Feels being used in a heart wrenching scene in a Love Actually type film.

I'm loving Chasing Ghosts and think that would make a good single at some point.

I think it's a shame she used Ting A Ling on Fired up as I think it's make the perfect follow up single to The Boy Does Nothing.

Noo its not -
According to Rachel "Play Me" & "Italians Do It Better" are uptempo.
Obv "Let's Get Excited" is uptempo - see Popjustice Song of Day from about a week-ish ago & so is "TBDN".

I would like to think "Cinderella Shoe" is quite pop/rock.
and also "Ooh Baby I Like It Like That" and "I'm Thru" to be uptempo too.

I just got an email saying I've won 2 tickets to an exclusive album listening event!! Too bad I live in Bulgaria :( :( :(

Really wish I could go..

It's so random.. I've only registered on her official mailing list.. I suppose that's where it came from!

Dunno, I remember reading on the Sugababes forum, someone had similarly won tickets to an event & it wasn't allowed.. though I guess I could just reply to the email with the name of the person I'm giving them to.. lol

Just got back from the single signing in B'ham and I am pretty sure they shifted all 250 wristbands by the crowds. Felt like I was there forever, but it was great fun.
Apparently, this week it's the second most bought single in HMV or something along those lines ....
