My Blood Records variant came in and it’s stunning, wow. Never seen a pink and white remix like that before.
I'm basic and think all the singles are indeed the best tracks here, which isn't usually the case with Goldfrapp for me.
Gatto Gelato was totally made for a Jeremy Scott runway.
The album mix of Fever is titled as just that on physicals, and I seem to recall Alison referring to it as simply 'Fever', but then on streaming it has the additional parentheses (This Is the Real Thing) in the title. Is this purely to avoid confusion (or tagging issues maybe?) with the Paul Woodford remix which was labelled as just Fever by Alison/Paul Woodford rather than Fever (Paul Woodford Remix)?
I bought an MP3 version of the album from her official store and it is titled Fever and not Fever (This Is the Real Thing).
I wanted to change it to include (This Is the Real Thing) but in the end I decided to stick to Fever.
Mine arrived today and it really is stunning, and it kind of glows in the light showing various shades of pink too. Gorgeous.
I'm absolutely loving the album too, this is a great year for music, but I think this could well end in my top 3 albums of the year.
Thanks for the info! I think I will leave it as Fever in my own library too. The official store is surely the authority (and it just looks so much cleaner).

Finally got the chance to sit down with this and I love it as much as I was expecting to. Annie's Russian Kiss would fit perfectly here, and that's only a great thing in my eyes
I had The Love Invention Deluxe Version on earlier at the gym and what a great album to workout to. The whole album is a really incredible. Not one song or remix I would remove.

Mine came a few days back. The inner sleeve was split to hell, but everything else was great.
That's because Alison wants you to live your life in the sun. She knew.
